It looks like 40-year highs in inflation. It looks like stagnating wages. It looks like a continued stagnation in the economy that eventually is going to lead to a recession here. That\u2019s what it looks like. So, you know, he\u2019s trying to tweet through this thing,\u201d Shapiro said <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1761-who-left-their-cocaine-at-the-white-house-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on his Thursday podcast<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Daily Wire co-founder also ripped into Biden, 80, who is running for re-election, over a Wednesday tweet in which the president <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\/status\/1676628253631447041\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">said<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0\u201cevery American willing to work hard should be able to get a job no matter where they are and keep their roots where they grew up. That\u2019s Bidenomics.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shapiro contrasted \u201cBidenomics\u201d with \u201cReaganomics,\u201d which was the idea that the economy could grow by lowering taxes to increase production and investment, which would in turn grow the economy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWell, I also can say stupid statements like that. Every American willing to work hard should be able to make $7.3 million per year at the job of their choice in the beachside resort of their choice. That\u2019s \u2018Shapironomics,\u2019\u201d Shapiro said. \u201cYou\u2019re saying random sentences now. Prices for many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ben-shapiro-shreds-bidenomics-as-president-touts-economic-record\/\" title=\"Ben Shapiro criticizes 'Bidenomics' while President highlights economic achievements.\">items remain high<\/a>, with<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the National Retail Federation (NRF) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/inflation-causes-fourth-of-july-cookout-items-to-hit-record-high-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">finding<\/a> that average per-person spending on Fourth of July food items rose to $93.34, the highest ever recorded by the NRF since the survey began in 2003.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The new total marked a $9.22 increase since last year when the individual cost averaged out to $84.12.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Last month, the White House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/white-house-brags-about-chart-showing-inflation-skyrocketed-after-biden-took-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">celebrated<\/a> inflation reaching 4%, the lowest rate since March 2021, claiming the lower rate \u201cis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-brags-about-chart-showing-inflation-skyrocketed-after-biden-took-office\/\" title=\"White House boasts about chart revealing inflation surge under Biden's administration.\">giving families real breathing room<\/a>.\u201d The chart used by the administration still showed the massive increase in inflation from January 2021 to May 2022 when it reached 9% under the current president\u2019s watch. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro criticized President Joe Biden&#8217;s economic track record while he promotes &#8220;Bidenomics&#8221; during a nationwide tour.
