(Photo by Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>OAN\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/tag\/noah-herring\">Noah Herring<\/a><br \/>3:27 PM \u2013 Thursday, July 6, 2023<\/p>\n<p>According to a MSNBC report, multiple officials involved in the White House cocaine investigation are now claiming that the powder was found in a cubby space near the White House\u2019s West Executive entrance, not the formal West Wing lobby, which is what was previously reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>According to Chief Washington Correspondent Andrea Mitchell, the West Wing reception area is a closely watched area, but still offered limited access to outsiders.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe big change is\u2026 where this was found. It was found, by my observation, in a much more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wh-cocaine-found-near-situation-room-different-location-from-what-was-originally-reported\/\" title=\"Cocaine discovered near Situation Room, not where initially stated.\">secure place \u2014 limited-access place<\/a>, in that West Wing reception area,\u201d Mitchell said. \u201cIt\u2019s still a frequently traveled place, but it\u2019s down near the Situation Room, right off Executive Drive, down below. And, normal people just \u2014 average people\u00a0 just can\u2019t get in there even with the entry for the northwest gate.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The cocaine was found in an entrance between the foyer and a lower-level lobby, near the Situation Room and executive offices. The entrance area is right next to where top officials like the vice president usually park their car.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Biden administration Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked during Wednesday\u2019s press briefing which of the two West Wing entrances was involved.
