You\u2019re talking to the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t pass up on the opportunity to talk to the American people about our vision, our experience, our love for this country, for anything. So you better believe in I\u2019m going to be in Milwaukee. We\u2019ll be on that debate stage. And wherever two or more Republican candidates for president are gathered there, I will be also.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe great thing about this process is the American people have a chance to take a fresh look at all of the candidates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To participate in the first debate, which will be hosted by Fox News on Aug. 23 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, candidates need a minimum of 40,000 unique donors, including 200 donors per state or territory in more than 20 states or territories. They also need to poll 1 percent in three national polls, or in two national polls and two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-lead-expands-over-desantis-in-key-primary-state-poll\/\" title=\"Trump's lead over DeSantis widens in crucial primary state: Poll.\">early state polls<\/a> from either Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, or South Carolina.<\/p>\n<h2>Will Trump Debate?<\/h2>\n<p>Mr. Trump has said he may not join the primary debates, especially given the RNC\u2019s requirement that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pence-confident-about-primary-debates-ive-debated-donald-trump-1000-times\/\" title=\"Pence sure of primary debates: 'I've faced Trump countless times'\">debate participants pledge<\/a> to ultimately support the party nominee.<\/p>\n<p>He floated the idea of holding or attending another rally instead.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve had a lot of offers, whether it\u2019s a rally or whether it\u2019s an interview by somebody else,\u201d he said. \u201cNot to be braggadocious but the debate will not be a very exciting one if I\u2019m not there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, many of the GOP 2024 hopefuls have been vocal about their express interest in debating Mr. Trump in particular.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. DeSantis has indicated he may participate and support the party nominee, saying candidates sho<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trump before and I&#8217;m confident in my ability to do so again.
