The illicit substance was found in the West Wing, leading to concerns about security and drug use within the presidential residence.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, Senator Cotton requested specific details about the location where the cocaine was found. He emphasized the importance of transparency, stating that the American people deserve to know if drugs were present in an area where confidential information is exchanged.<\/p>\n<p>The letter also raised broader questions about the security of the White House complex and requested the Secret Service&#8217;s plan to address any identified flaws.
