This revelation undermines any claims that the whistleblower is motivated by political reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Cruz pointed out that this particular IRS whistleblower, who <a href=\"https:\/\/waysandmeans.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Whistleblower-2-Transcript_Redacted.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">testified<\/a> before Congress, is a gay man married to another man and identifies as a Democrat.<\/p>\n<p>The senator emphasized that the deal Hunter Biden received was a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/los-angeles-da-hires-anti-cop-activist-for-top-prosecutor-job\/\" title=\"Los Angeles DA Hires Anti-Cop Activist for Top Prosecutor Job\">sweetheart deal<\/a>&#8221; that the Biden administration is eager to close the door on. He highlighted the conflicting statements between Merrick Garland and David Weiss on one side, and the two IRS whistleblowers on the other side.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The whistleblowers, as I&#8217;ve noted, we have no reason to think they&#8217;re lying. One of them is a gay Democrat who&#8217;s married to a man,&#8221; Cruz stated. &#8220;Both of them are career IRS employees, neither of them have any indication that they&#8217;re in any way, shape, or form Republican.
