That\u2019s a significant deficit for the president.<\/p>\n<p>Significantly, in the 2020 presidential race, Biden defeated Trump in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/huge-sidney-powell-witness-whom-ny-times-described-as-always-the-smartest-person-in-the-room-concludes-hundreds-of-thousands-of-votes-transferred-from-trump-to-biden-in-all-battleground-states\/\" title=\"HUGE! Sidney Powell Witness Whom NY Times Described as \"Always the Smartest Person in the Room\" Concludes Hundreds of Thousands of Votes Transferred from Trump to Biden IN ALL BATTLEGROUND STATES\">key battleground states<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/police-raid-michigan-county-seize-voting-machine-part-investigation-2020-post-election-breaches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michigan<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/arizona-senate-committee-approves-resolution-reclaiming-legislatures-authority-set-election-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arizona<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/sean-hannity-2020-election-georgia-nevada-suspicious-suitcases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgia<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pennsylvania-county-recount-2020-election-votes-president-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pennsylvania<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wisconsin-2020-election-investigation-finds-illegal-votes-cast-bidens-margin-victory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wisconsin<\/a> \u2014 although Trump has questioned those results.<\/p>\n<p>The Echelon Insights survey, which polled 1,020 likely voters June 26-29, had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Among likely Democratic voters, 65 percent favored Biden in the party\u2019s primary race, while 14 percent supported Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and 4 percent were for motivational author Marianne Williamson.<\/p>\n<p>Presented only with the names of Biden, Kennedy and Williamson, 6 percent said \u201csomeone else\u201d and 11 percent said they were unsure.<\/p>\n<p>One question all this raises is how Democrats can succeed with an 80-year-old candidate whose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-doesnt-even-correct-astonishing-error-speaking-old-age-showing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cognitive decline<\/a> is becoming more difficult to hide or excuse.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Biden: \u201c[Putin] is clearly losing the war in Iraq\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dKt6yWWGFx\">pic.twitter.com\/dKt6yWWGFx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1674059108486615040?\">June 28, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Not that Biden was all that sharp in 2020, barely campaigning while Trump appeared like a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-swing-state-poll-spells-disaster-for-joe-biden-against-donald-trump\/\" title=\"New poll shows Joe Biden facing major challenges against Donald Trump in swing states.\">rock star drawing crowds<\/a> of thousands wherever he went.<\/p>\n<p>And Trump seems to be repeating his performances of three years ago, with an estimated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/2024-final-battle-trump-takes-entire-town-50000-rally-show-force\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">50,000 people turning out<\/a> to hear him over the Fourth of July weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of just battleground states, Echelon asked likely 2024 voters to choose from among Biden, Trump and Green Party candidate Cornel West if the election were held today. Trump received 43 percent of the support, Biden 42 percent and West 4 percent.<\/p>\n<p>With such a close margin between the leading GOP and Democratic candidates, Trump and Biden, West could prove to be a spoiler, working to the incumbent\u2019s disadvantage, according to David B. Cohen, a University of Akron political science professor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is always a danger a third-party candidate can impact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/another-incoming-congresswoman-announces-objection-to-electoral-college-votes\/\" title=\"Another Incoming Congresswoman Announces Objection To Electoral College Votes\">electoral college results<\/a>, particularly if they receive enough votes in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/update-corrupted-software-that-stole-6000-votes-from-trump-in-michigan-county-shut-down-for-two-hours-in-red-counties-in-georgia-on-election-day\/\" title=\"Update: Corrupted Software that Stole 6,000 Votes From Trump in Michigan County -- Shut Down for TWO HOURS in Red Counties in Georgia on Election Day\">battleground state<\/a> or states to change the outcome,\u201d Cohen told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/cornel-west-2024-election-joe-biden-votes-green-party-1807167\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a close election, Cornel West could well be a spoiler,\u201d he said. \u201cThere is no evidence to suggest that the 2024 election will be anything but a very close election decided by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ny-judge-orders-gop-candidate-be-certified-winner-of-house-race\/\" title=\"NY Judge Orders GOP Candidate Be Certified Winner Of House Race\">razor-thin margins<\/a>, which means that a third-party candidate could have an outsized influence in the result.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2000, the less than 3 percent of the popular vote that went to third-party candidate Ralph Nader, a consumer activist, could have cost Democrat Al Gore the highly disputed election that was ultimately decided for Republican George W.
