New Statistics Show Trend Republicans Should Be Celebrating<\/h2>\n<p>Conservative readers would be forgiven if they never want to see the phrase \u201cred wave\u201d again.<\/p>\n<p>Prognosticators\u2019 credibility took a hit during the 2022 midterm elections when the much-ballyhooed \u201cred wave\u201d failed to materialize.<\/p>\n<p>Still, if one can gauge the temper of the times by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-did-georgia-send-out-7-million-absentee-ballots-while-only-having-5-6-million-registered-voters-in-the-2020-presidential-election\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Did Georgia Send Out 7 Million Absentee Ballots While Only Having 5.6 Million Registered Voters In The 2020 Presidential Election?\">voter registration statistics<\/a>, then Republicans have reason for optimism in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>In short, the trends look good.<\/p>\n<p>In a few places where Republicans have fared well of late, the numbers actually look staggering.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandoweekly.com\/news\/florida-gop-now-has-a-nearly-half-a-million-registered-voter-advantage-over-democrats-34457407\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orlando Weekly<\/a>, a liberal newsweekly so far to the left that it features an \u201cAbortion Rights\u201d news section, reported on June 20 that registered Republicans outnumbered registered Democrats in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kari-lake-stumps-trump-florida-watch-happens-says-desantis-name\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florida<\/a> by nearly half a million at the end of May.<\/p>\n<p>This means that Republicans in the Sunshine State have gained nearly 200,000 net registered voters since the 2022 midterm election.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats outnumbered Republicans in Florida as recently as 2020.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Is a red wave possible in 2024?<\/p>\n<p>Yes<\/p>\n<p>No<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Elsewhere in the South, one sees a similar trend.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, InteractivePolls posted a chart on Twitter showing that Republicans have gained nearly 300,000 net voters in Kentucky since November 2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Kentucky Voter Registration Edge<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 2019:  Dem +212,620<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 2020:  Dem +91,962<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 2021:  Dem +45,656<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 2022:  GOP +30,352<\/p>\n<p>June 2023:  GOP +64,116<\/p>\n<p>Since Nov. 2019:<br \/>\nDemocrats: -152,365<br \/>\nRepublicans: +124,371<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/I9JQUo9Lum\">https:\/\/t.co\/I9JQUo9Lum<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YYnkrVZke5\">pic.twitter.com\/YYnkrVZke5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 InteractivePolls (@IAPolls2022) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IAPolls2022\/status\/1676358610530582532?\">July 4, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In 2019 Kentuckians narrowly elected Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear, so these registration figures suggest a significant red shift in the Bluegrass State.<\/p>\n<p>If ad spending serves as any indication, then President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dick-morris-joe-biden-becoming-unelectable\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a> believes that a familiar set of five or six <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-beats-biden-key-swing-state-poll-crushes-independents-14-points\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">swing states<\/a> will decide the 2024 presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>In April, Maggie Haberman of the New York Times reported that Biden would begin buying ads in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Biden beginning his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/could-there-be-a-red-wave-in-2024-new-statistics-show-trend-republicans-should-be-celebrating\/\" title=\"Is a Red Wave Possible in 2024? Latest Stats Suggest GOP Should Rejoice.\">ad buys starting tomorrow<\/a>, in AZ, MI, NV, PA, and WI so far, per an ad-tracking source<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/maggieNYT\/status\/1650993992752922626?\">April 25, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She later added Georgia.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">+ GA, per another source<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/maggieNYT\/status\/1650995364856573955?\">April 25, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Recent statistics from several of those swing states bode well for Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, voter registration data from <a href=\"https:\/\/azsos.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/State_Voter_Registration_January%202023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 2023<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/azsos.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/state_voter_registration_april.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">April 2023<\/a> show net gains for Republicans in Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, data from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dos.pa.gov\/VotingElections\/OtherServicesEvents\/VotingElectionStatistics\/Documents\/2022%20Election%20VR%20Statistics.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 2022<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dos.pa.gov\/VotingElections\/OtherServicesEvents\/VotingElectionStatistics\/Documents\/2023%20Primary%20VR%20Statistics%20FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">May 2023<\/a> show both relative and absolute losses for Democrats in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>All of these numbers, of course, require a good deal of perspective.<\/p>\n<p>Not all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/americans-are-smart-and-most-dont-want-biden-in-2024\/\" title=\"Americans Are Smart, And Most Don\u2019t Want Biden In 2024\">registered voters vote<\/a>. The 2024 election is still 488 days away. Voters often cross party lines. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-received-massive-help-51-intel-agents-2020-debate-trump-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Electoral shenanigans<\/a> remain likely.<\/p>\n<p>Still, the trend tells a story.
