However, the Kremlin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newarab.com\/news\/kremlin-dismisses-ft-report-xi-warning-putin-over-nukes\">denied<\/a> the conversation when asked, stating that anything other than the official accounts of the leaders&#8217; discussion is &#8220;fiction.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to sources from the <em>Financial Times<\/em>, China is boasting about successfully cooling Putin&#8217;s threats of nuclear warfare.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Chinese are taking credit for sending the message at every level,&#8221; revealed a senior U.S. official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/c5ce76df-9b1b-4dfc-a619-07da1d40cbd3\">told<\/a> the <em>Financial Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to Xi&#8217;s visit, Western officials had already predicted that it would help reduce nuclear tensions.<\/p>\n<p>Josep Borrell, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/xi-warned-putin-against-using-nukes-in-ukraine-report\/\" title=\"Xi cautioned Putin against deploying nuclear weapons in Ukraine, according to reports.\">oversees foreign policy<\/a> for the European Union, stated at the time of the visit that it &#8220;reduces the risk of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/evidence-of-undeclared-nuclear-activities-discovered-at-locations-in-iran-that-raise-new-concerns-report\/\" title=\"\u2018Evidence Of Undeclared Nuclear Activities\u2019 Discovered At Locations In Iran That Raise New Concerns: Report\">nuclear war<\/a> and they [the Chinese] have made it very, very clear.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Failed Mutiny and Kremlin Purge<\/h3>\n<p>The report comes two weeks after a failed <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/russian-foreign-minister-says-country-will-emerge-stronger-after-mutiny\/\">mutiny<\/a> by the Wagner Group in Russia. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/russian-foreign-minister-says-country-will-emerge-stronger-after-mutiny\/\">said<\/a> last week that Russia will emerge stronger following the revolt.
