Version: 4.0.47--><div>\n<div>\n<figure>\n      <!-- Image goes here --><br \/>\n    <\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<h2>A Victory for Free Speech: Judge Bars Biden Regime from Censoring Americans<\/h2>\n<p>A federal judge in Louisiana issued a preliminary injunction that bars the Biden regime from colluding with Big Tech to censor Americans exercising their First Amendment rights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the allegations made by Plaintiffs are true, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/reason-to-celebrate-on-july-4-judge-struck-blow-for-freedom-against-biden-admin-big-tech-censorship\/\" title=\"July 4: Judge Strikes Blow for Freedom Against Biden Admin, Big Tech Censorship\">present case arguably involves<\/a> the most massive attack against free speech in United States\u2019 history,\u201d Judge Terry Doughty, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, noted in the ruling. \u201cIn their attempts to suppress alleged disinformation, the Federal Government, and particularly the Defendants named here, are alleged to have blatantly ignored the First Amendment\u2019s right to free speech.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23867004-08917380420?responsive=1&#038;title=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">155-page memorandum ruling<\/a> handed down on July 4, the Trump appointee specified that federal agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Census Bureau, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State, the FBI, and the Department of Justice may no longer coordinate with or \u201ccoerce\u201d platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Google to silence their political enemies.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden White House has a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/07\/19\/white-house-says-nothing-off-the-table-when-it-comes-to-using-big-tech-to-silence-dissent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">history<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/07\/15\/white-house-brags-about-colluding-with-tech-oligarchs-to-suppress-dissent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bragging<\/a> about leveraging relationships with Big Tech companies to suppress information the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/attorney-generals-demand-biden-admin-stop-colluding-with-big-tech-to-censor-speech\/\" title=\"Attorney Generals Demand Biden Admin Stop Colluding With Big Tech To Censor Speech\">administration deems \u201cproblematic<\/a>.\u201d In addition to a plethora of federal agencies, the injunction also applies to defendants such as President Joe Biden himself, his press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, his director of digital strategy, and other members of the Executive Office of the President.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough this case is still relatively young, and at this stage the Court is only examining it in terms of Plaintiffs\u2019 likelihood of success on the merits, the evidence produced thus far depicts an almost dystopian scenario,\u201d Doughty wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Doughty said he expects the case, brought by attorneys general Eric Schmitt of Missouri and Jeff Landry of Louisiana, to succeed \u201con the merits in establishing that the Government has used its power to silence the opposition\u201d on topics like Covid-19, masking, lockdowns, vaccines, the 2020 election, Biden policies, and the veracity of the Hunter Biden laptop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll were suppressed,\u201d Doughty wrote. \u201cIt is quite telling that each example or category of suppressed speech was conservative in nature. This targeted suppression of conservative ideas is a perfect example of viewpoint discrimination of political speech. American citizens have the right to engage in free debate about the significant issues affecting the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several corporate media outlets lamented Doughty\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2023\/07\/04\/biden-social-lawsuit-missouri-louisiana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">complained<\/a> that the \u201cTrump-appointed judge\u2019s move could upend years of efforts to enhance coordination between the government and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ga-poll-watcher-it-expert-non-trump-supporter-affidavit-sudden-surge-of-20000-mail-in-votes-for-biden-in-early-hours-on-nov\/\" title=\"GA Poll Watcher, IT Expert, Non-Trump Supporter Affidavit: Sudden Surge of 20,000 Mail-In-Votes For Biden In Early Hours On Nov\">social media companies<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure>\n    <!-- Image goes here --><br \/>\n  <\/figure>\n<p>The New York Times, similarly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/07\/04\/business\/federal-judge-biden-social-media.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bemoaned<\/a> that the judge handed a victory to Republicans \u201cwho claim the administration is trying to silence its critics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCourts are increasingly being forced to weigh in on such issues \u2014 with the potential to upend decades of legal norms that have governed speech online,\u201d the NYT warned.<\/p>\n<figure>\n    <!-- Image goes here --><br \/>\n  <\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAmazing that legacy media is way more interested in [regime] approved messaging than fighting for the very Amendment that guarantees their reporting\/editorials. Maybe this is an inflection point?
