He stated that when the government assumes this role, citizens become subjects rather than active participants in their democracy.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing concerns that the ruling could hinder efforts to combat false and misleading narratives about COVID-19 and other issues, Landry criticized the notion that the government knows best when it comes to safeguarding Americans&#8217; health.
