Similarly, the prices of all Model Y variants have been slashed by around 4%. This move aims to make these electric vehicles more accessible to a wider range of customers.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla highlighted that the price reduction for the Model 3 now makes it more affordable in Japan than ever before, especially when combined with various subsidies available for the purchase.<\/p>\n<p>The price cuts come just two months after Tesla had increased the prices of the Model 3 and Model Y in Japan. The new prices for the Model 3 and Model Y are 5,245,600 yen ($36,362) and 5,637,000 yen, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that the prices for the long-range and performance variants of both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tesla-cuts-prices-in-japan-for-model-3-and-y\/\" title=\"Tesla reduces prices for Model 3 and Y in Japan.\">models remain slightly higher<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Tesla has decided to keep the prices of its higher-priced Model S and Model X unchanged.
