The case revolves around the company&#8217;s payment practices on the Apple App Store, and Apple is determined to fight for its position.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent filing, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/amazon-announces-end-to-marijuana-testing-vows-to-actively-push-for-federal-legalization-expunging-criminal-records\/\" title=\"Amazon Announces End To Marijuana Testing, Vows To \u2018Actively\u2019 Push For Federal Legalization, Expunging Criminal Records\">tech giant stated<\/a> that it would request the Supreme Court to review a ruling made by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which upheld most of the initial decision regarding a lawsuit filed by Fortnite developer Epic Games against Apple in 2021. Apple is eager to challenge this ruling and is seeking a pause on the injunction until its appeal is filed on Friday.<\/p>\n<h3>Apple&#8217;s Argument<\/h3>\n<p>Apple&#8217;s lawyers argue that the 9th Circuit ruling went too far by issuing a nationwide injunction based on California&#8217;s laws.
