The president has been a forceful supporter of Hunter amid allegations of corruption and influence-peddling that evidence suggests could also involve the president.<\/p>\n<h3>The Unacknowledged Granddaughter<\/h3>\n<p>Despite his strong devotion to Hunter, the president has failed to meet, speak with, or even publicly acknowledge his four-year-old granddaughter living in Arkansas, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/07\/01\/us\/politics\/hunter-biden-daughter-arkansas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a>. The girl, named Navy Joan, is reportedly the product of a sordid romance between Hunter and Lunden Roberts that took place soon after Hunter\u2019s relationship with his deceased brother\u2019s widow, Hallie, ended.<\/p>\n<h3>A Strategy of Denial<\/h3>\n<p>The president\u2019s team is reportedly pushing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/blackburn-says-facebook-whistleblowers-plan-would-silence-conservatives\/\" title=\"Blackburn Says Facebook Whistleblower\u2019s Plan Would Silence Conservatives\">public relations strategy<\/a> that involves never recognizing Navy Joan as part of the Biden family. White House aides are reportedly being told in strategy sessions that the president only has six grandchildren, not seven, according to the Times.<\/p>\n<p>The report comes after the president and the White House have repeatedly failed to acknowledge Navy Joan. In May, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer questions about the child.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to ask about the trial going on in Arkansas with Hunter Biden and the child support. Are the president and first lady monitoring that? And how come they haven\u2019t acknowledged the seventh grandchild?\u201d a reporter asked the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/media-say-bidens-female-led-comms-is-a-first-trump-has-that-now\/\" title=\"Media Say Biden's Female-Led Comms Is A First. Trump Has That Now\">press secretary<\/a>, referring to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-presidents-aides-are-being-told-lies-erasing-hunters-arkansas-daughter\/\" title=\"President's aides are reportedly being deceived about Hunter's daughter in Arkansas.\">years-long child support payment battle<\/a> that was settled last week.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/karine-jean-pierre-stonewalls-questions-on-presidents-unacknowledged-arkansas-grandchild\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">responded<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m not going to speak to that from here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-falsely-claims-he-has-six-grandchildren-leaves-off-hunters-arkansas-daughter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">repeatedly<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-biden-falsely-claims-to-have-four-granddaughters-ignoring-hunters-illegitimate-child\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">failed<\/a> to acknowledge his seventh grandchild in public comments about his family, typically revolving around his love and devotion to them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe best part of it all, I have six grandchildren, and I\u2019m crazy about them. I speak to them every single day,\u201d Biden said at a White House event in April. \u201cNot a joke,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<h3>Settlement of Child Support Battle<\/h3>\n<p>Hunter and Navy Joan\u2019s mother, Lunden Roberts, settled a legal battle over Hunter\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-cashes-in-with-book-deal-as-career-prospects-dwindle-child-support-payments-mount\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden Cashes In with Book Deal as Career Prospects Dwindle, Child Support Payments Mount\">child support payments<\/a> on Thursday. Hunter had been paying Roberts $20,000 a month in child support, and the Biden scion had sought to have that amount reduced, pleading that he could not afford it.<\/p>\n<p>Roberts and Hunter agreed to decrease the amount to $ 5,000 a month. Roberts also gave up a push to allow Navy Joan to take on the Biden family name, something that Hunter had fought against. Navy Joan will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/world-news\/2023\/07\/02\/hunter-bidens-daughter-paintings-child-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">receive<\/a> some of Hunter\u2019s amateur artwork, which the 4-year-old will be able to pick out herself. Hunter\u2019s artwork has sold at auction for as much as $500,000.
