Never heard of her,\u201d another quipped.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo Bud Light. No Bud Light,\u201d a woman said. \u201cNot here. Can\u2019t do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, showing up at a public gathering and cherry-picking quotes from the crowd is one of the oldest dodges in the journalism business. And, obviously, a Kid Rock concert is pretty hostile territory for Bud Light these days.<\/p>\n<p>(Back in April, when the star published a video in which he emptied the magazine of an MP5 rifle into boxes of the beer, he proved beyond question how he felt about the product. His obscenities at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kid-rock-obliterates-bud-light-american-way-company-puts-trans-beer-can\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">end of the video<\/a> sealed things.)<\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s not like this is happening in a vacuum. Bud Light, once the nation\u2019s most popular beer, is on the rocks.<\/p>\n<p>In May, its sales were down <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bud-light-makes-desperate-move-save-4th-july-sales-huge-problem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nearly 30 percent<\/a> from the same point last year. Across the country, news reports have abounded about once-loyal consumers turning their backs on Bud Light in unprecedented numbers. The company has told wholesalers it would buy back <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bud-light-disaster-bad-now-buying-back-beer-mulvaney-fiasco-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">its own product<\/a> after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hawaii-to-introduce-vaccine-passport-program\/\" title=\"Hawaii To Introduce Vaccine Passport Program\">expiration date<\/a> passes.<\/p>\n<p>(One unexpected consequence of the controversy is that many, possibly millions, of beer drinkers learned that beer even <em>had<\/em>\u00a0an expiration date.)<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not only cost parent company Anheuser Busch money, it\u2019s cost <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bud-lights-dylan-mulvaney-partnership-now-cost-645-people-jobs-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">real people real jobs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s all thanks to a disastrous advertising campaign with a \u201ctransgender\u201d social media influencer who\u2019s making millions by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/i-am-100-suing-cardi-candace-owens-blasts-cardi-b-after-rapper-posts-doctored-tweet-false-claims\/\" title=\"\u2018I Am 100% Suing Cardi\u2019: Candace Owens Blasts Cardi B After Rapper Posts Doctored Tweet, False Claims\">publicly claiming<\/a> to be a woman (and insulting women in the process).<\/p>\n<p>The fact that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ozy-media-shuts-down-after-scrutiny-over-inflated-site-statistics-and-reach\/\" title=\"Ozy Media Shuts Down After Scrutiny Over Inflated Site Statistics And Reach\">advertising executive<\/a> behind the partnership with the woefully misguided (or mendacious) Dylan Mulvaney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/viral-video-bud-light-exec-reveals-woke-company-feels-past-customers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publicly expressed<\/a> how she was trying to change the beer\u2019s \u201cfratty\u201d image didn\u2019t help matters either.<\/p>\n<p>Well, Bud Light has changed its image, all right, from an all-American beverage that could be enjoyed across the board into a lightning rod that\u2019s attracting fire from all sides in the culture wars (even the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bud-light-boycott-gets-much-worse-gay-bars-join-fray\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gay and trans crowd<\/a> is boycotting it now for being insufficiently committed to the cause).<\/p>\n<h3>No one was looking to Bud Light, or any other beer, to take a stand in the ongoing assault by leftist radicals, unhinged transgenders and political opportunists of every stripe on millennia-old concepts of humanity, but Bud Light bosses chose to go all in.<\/h3>\n<p>Whatever response might have been anticipated, a national boycott-by-consensus of former Bud Light fans disgusted with the brand is what ensued.<\/p>\n<p>The roving interviews at the Kid Rock concert wouldn\u2019t satisfy even the minimal standards of a statistically valid poll, but every American who sees the video understands the context.
