However, he did acknowledge the possibility that the merger may not succeed.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Well, I told a lot of golfers, &#8216;take the money and run,&#8217; because, in my opinion, there&#8217;ll be a merger,&#8221; Trump stated, presenting three potential outcomes. &#8220;It&#8217;ll either merge, it&#8217;ll work, or it won&#8217;t work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trump emphasized the importance of seizing the financial opportunity for golfers, regardless of the merger&#8217;s outcome. They&#8217;ll do; I think they&#8217;re gonna do a great job. The tour had a chance to do some great things with them, and they turned them down, and now they&#8217;re paying a pretty rough price. But it wasn&#8217;t handled well by the Tour, that I can tell you.
