We celebrate that babies will be protected at 12 weeks gestation and the state\u2019s record $160 million in funding for parental leave, material support, and many other resources will help women and children in North Carolina,\u201d Connors said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">VICTORY! She otherwise rejected the request for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-georgia-update-judge-issues-restraining-order-for-10-days-preventing-defendants-from-destroying-or-erasing-dominion-voting-machines\/\" title=\"BREAKING GEORGIA UPDATE: Judge Issues Restraining Order for 10 Days Preventing Defendants from Destroying or Erasing Dominion Voting Machines\">temporary restraining order<\/a>, which would have blocked the law while court challenges play themselves out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe General Assembly provided the clarity physicians asked for and now Senate Bill 20, including the $160 million in funding for child care access, paid parental leave for state employees, maternal health, and other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/north-carolina-governor-says-hell-veto-pro-life-bill-prohibiting-abortion-after-first-trimester\/\" title=\"NC Governor to Veto Pro-Life Bill Banning Late-Term Abortions\">pro-family measures<\/a>, will largely go into effect,\u201d Lauren Horsch, a spokeswoman for Senate leader Phil Berger, said.<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate that Planned Parenthood \u2014 aided by Attorney General [Josh] Stein \u2014 hasn\u2019t given up its crusade to save its business model.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In her ruling, Eagles said issues with wording were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/conservative-ceo-slams-pro-abortion-companies-announces-major-initiative-underway-employees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">largely resolved<\/a> in legislation developed by lawmakers and signed this week by Gov.
