I strongly disagree.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But Thomas didn&#8217;t stop there. He expressed his annoyance by stating, &#8220;Justice Jackson uses her broad observations about statistical relationships between race and select measures of health, wealth, and well-being to label all blacks as victims. Her desire to do so is unfathomable to me. I cannot deny the great accomplishments of black Americans, including those who succeeded despite long odds.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas accused Jackson of holding a &#8220;race-infused&#8221; view of the world, which he deemed short-sighted.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized, &#8220;Justice Jackson&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/clarence-thomas-incinerates-ketanji-brown-jackson-justice-jacksons-race-infused-world-view-falls-flat-at-each-step\/\" title=\"Clarence Thomas criticizes Ketanji Brown Jackson: 'Jackson's race-focused perspective fails repeatedly'\">race-infused worldview falls flat<\/a> at each step. Individuals are the sum of their unique experiences, challenges, and accomplishments. What matters is not the barriers they face, but how they choose to confront them. And their race is not to blame for everything \u2014 good or bad \u2014 that happens in their lives. A contrary, myopic worldview based on individuals&#8217; skin color to the total exclusion of their personal choices is nothing short of racial determinism.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas also criticized his colleague for disregarding the plights of Asian and white students who often become victims of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-justice-department-drops-discrimination-lawsuit-against-yale\/\" title=\"Biden\u2019s Justice Department Drops Discrimination Lawsuit Against Yale\">race-based admissions process<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Jackson fired back, stating, &#8220;The takeaway is that those who demand that no one think about race (a classic pink-elephant paradox) refuse to see, much less solve for, the elephant in the room \u2014 the race-linked disparities that continue to impede the achievement of our great Nation&#8217;s full potential.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden nominated Jackson to the bench in February 2022 after former Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas has served on the court since 1991 and faced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/remember-when-media-freaked-out-over-amy-coney-barrett-and-the-right-wing-supreme-court\/\" title=\"Remember When Media Freaked Out Over Amy Coney Barrett And The Right Wing Supreme Court?\">contentious confirmation process<\/a> when then-senator Biden attempted to derail his nomination by former President George H.W.
