Harvard pledges to discover workaround.\">high-quality education accessible<\/a> to the people of North Carolina and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile not the outcome we hoped for, we will carefully review the Supreme Court\u2019s decision and take any steps necessary to comply with the law,\u201d Guskiewicz added, echoing many other schools across the country.<\/p>\n<p>But for conservatives hoping that means that the Tar Heels and other institutes of learning are going to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/higher-education-will-still-racially-discriminate-but-itll-be-more-creative\/\" title=\"Higher education will continue to discriminate based on race, but in more innovative ways.\">adopt color-blind policies<\/a> and accept based on merit and character \u2014 then you haven\u2019t been paying attention to how the Left operates.<\/p>\n<p>As explained by The Federalist founder Sean Davis, \u201cBolshevik madrassas masquerading as universities will eliminate admissions criteria that highlight differences in intelligence and ability \u2014 GPA, test scores, and academic achievements will no longer be evaluated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, many under-grad and post-grad schools have begun eliminating standardized testing, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/michaeltnietzel\/2022\/11\/15\/more-than-80-of-four-year-colleges-wont-require-standardized--tests-for-fall-2023-admissions\/?sh=30c226d87fb9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one example<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cUniversities will claim a new, holistic approach to applicant evaluation so they can discriminate based on identity, but without obvious academic comparisons that make it easy to prove they\u2019re discriminating against qualified candidates because of their race,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">What comes next? Instead, we&#8217;ll see the opposite.<\/p>\n<p>Bolshevik madrassas masquerading as universities will eliminate admissions criteria that highlight differences in intelligence and ability \u2014 GPA, test scores, and academic achievements will\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/tzwdvyU7Rs\">https:\/\/t.co\/tzwdvyU7Rs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Sean Davis (@seanmdav) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/seanmdav\/status\/1674423323097456641?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 29, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In fact, though, universities already are pretty creative at racial discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, activist Chris Rufo tweeted, \u201cBerkeley Law School dean Erwin Chemerinsky explains how he has secretly enacted a policy of racial discrimination in faculty hiring\u2014which is illegal in California.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I\u2019m ever deposed, I\u2019m going to deny I said this to you,\u201d Chemerinsky said while explaining the unspoken agreement amongst his colleagues to enact \u201cunstated affirmative action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat if the college or university doesn\u2019t tell anybody that, doesn\u2019t make any public statements \u2026 about how it uses race in admissions?\u201d he posited to a group.<\/p>\n<p>His ultimate lesson was that if you\u2019re choosing a candidate for a job or a spot in an incoming class because they will add \u201cdiversity,\u201d don\u2019t ever actually say that motive out loud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can think it, you can vote it,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realchrisrufo\/status\/1674548940522549248.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>, but saying it out loud could open the university up to legal issues.<\/p>\n<p>So, colleges in the years to come will follow a similar route. And, as pointed out by The Blaze\u2019s Auron <span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 css-1hf3ou5 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">MacIntyre<\/span><\/span>, must be met with legal action from conservatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis ruling means nothing if conservatives aren\u2019t suing these institutions into oblivion, if Republican DOJs and AGs aren\u2019t hitting them relentlessly,\u201d he tweeted. \u201cIf conservatives just point and sputter as universities circumvent the ruling it will be entirely empty.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"css-1dbjc4n r-1awozwy r-18u37iz r-1wbh5a2 r-dnmrzs\">\n<div class=\"css-901oao r-1awozwy r-18jsvk2 r-6koalj r-1qd0xha r-a023e6 r-b88u0q r-rjixqe r-bcqeeo r-1udh08x r-3s2u2q r-qvutc0\" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 css-1hf3ou5 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">MacIntyre also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AuronMacintyre\/status\/1674426766562316288?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">correctly noted<\/a> that it\u2019s unlikely that the GOP will be up to that task. (Party leaders will probably send some strongly worded letters though\u2026<em>So we got that going for us, which is nice<\/em>.)<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p>That means that this form of racism will continue.
