Wade<\/em> to successfully enforce a ban on abortion once a heartbeat is detected, which usually comes at about six weeks. The Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/12\/10\/scotus-keeps-texas-heartbeat-law-alive-but-roberts-joins-courts-left-wing-in-foreshadowing-pro-abortion-dissent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">upheld<\/a> the abortion ban in December 2021, six months before the nine justices overturned the court\u2019s 1973 <em>Roe <\/em>decision<em>.<\/em> The number of abortions dropped by more than 10,000 nationwide in the first two months following the Supreme Court\u2019s decision to overturn <em>Roe<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/societyfp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/SFPWeCountReport_AprtoAug2022_ReleaseOct2022-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according<\/a> to the Society of Family Planning. The group <a href=\"https:\/\/societyfp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/WeCountReport_April2023Release.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">estimated<\/a> more than 32,000 babies were saved within the first six months of the high court\u2019s landmark ruling. Abortion rates <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6270530\/abortion-rates-post-roe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dropped<\/a> by 96 percent in states with the strongest restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>According to LifeNews.com reporting on the new study from Johns Hopkins, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/thanks-to-texas-heartbeat-law-10000-babies-escaped-abortion-study\/\" title=\"Texas Heartbeat Law Saves 10,000 Babies from Abortion: Study\">researchers examined monthly live birth data<\/a> from all 50 states to calculate how many lives were saved by the Texas heartbeat bill.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResearch suggests the Texas law saved about 1,225 babies from abortion every month,\u201d the website reported. \u201cThese are unique, valuable children who will have the opportunity to grow and thrive, experience joy, develop relationships and contribute to society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Most Americans support restrictions on abortion and oppose leftist demands to keep <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/clarence-thomas-the-supreme-court-wont-be-bullied\/\" title=\"Clarence Thomas: The Supreme Court Won\u2019t Be Bullied\">abortion procedures legal<\/a> up until birth.
