The lawyer dismissed the claims as utterly baseless.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Accusations and Plea<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Daniel Penny, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/daniel-penny-pleads-not-guilty-to-charges-over-jordan-neelys-death\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pleaded not guilty<\/a> to charges of second-degree manslaughter and negligent homicide, is accused of killing Jordan Neely, a homeless man with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/candace-owens-the-media-is-lying-to-you-about-george-floyd-and-makhia-bryant\/\" title=\"CANDACE OWENS: The Media Is Lying To You About George Floyd And Ma\u2019Khia Bryant\">violent criminal record<\/a>, on a Manhattan subway train on May 1. However, some media outlets have turned this incident into a racial issue due to Penny being white and Neely being black.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Reckless Speculation<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tom Kenniff, the lawyer representing Penny, appeared on Shapiro&#8217;s podcast and condemned the reckless and vitriolic speculation that has turned this subway incident into a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/asian-city-councilwoman-allegedly-harassed-by-social-justice-warrior-despite-increase-in-anti-asian-violence\/\" title=\"Asian City Councilwoman Allegedly Harassed By Social Justice Warrior Despite Increase In Anti-Asian Violence\">racial matter<\/a>.
