It has affected a lot of flights,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/buttigieg-were-in-active-conversation-with-cdc-about-requiring-covid-test-before-domestic-flights\/\" title=\"Buttigieg: We\u2019re In \u2018Active Conversation\u2019 With CDC About Requiring COVID Test Before Domestic Flights\">transportation secretary<\/a> said. \u201cI reached my hotel room about 2:30 in the morning last night after my flight got canceled and the next one got delayed. A lot of Americans are going through the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the flight disruptions, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-pence-defends-joke-buttigieg-maternity-leave\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Buttigieg<\/a> claimed the nationwide transportation system is running better than it did last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I will say is that overall, we have seen the system perform much better than it did a year ago,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I think that reflects the work we\u2019ve done. I think it reflects the airlines stepping up.
