Were you sitting there? In response to another reporter&#8217;s question on Monday, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-biden-doubles-down-on-campaign-claim-he-never-spoke-with-hunter-about-business-deals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reiterated<\/a> his previous statement that he has never discussed business matters with his son. Nevertheless, a statement from the White House counsel&#8217;s office, released last week, seemed to hedge the president&#8217;s stance.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As we have said many times before, the President was not in business with his son,&#8221; said Ian Sams, spokesman for the White House counsel&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these claims, doubts have persisted regarding the president&#8217;s involvement in his son Hunter&#8217;s business affairs. Last year, a voicemail left by Joe Biden for his son <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-biden-spoke-with-hunter-about-dealings-with-chinese-oil-tycoon-voicemail-reveals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suggested<\/a> that they had discussed Hunter&#8217;s business dealings in 2018, as reported by The New York Times.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged WhatsApp message, revealed by IRS agents during their testimony to the House, has further <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-grand-jury-to-weigh-indictment-will-meet-for-6-months\/\" title=\"Trump Grand Jury to Weigh Indictment; Will Meet for 6 Months\">complicated matters<\/a>. The agents claim that the message, sent by Hunter Biden to Chinese energy company CEFC executive Henry Zhao on July 30, 2017, stated, &#8220;I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.
