Ryan emphasized the need for the party to move on from Trump, citing his &#8220;baggage&#8221; as a hindrance to their success.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a disaster if we nominate Trump,\u201d Ryan stated. \u201cI think we\u2019re much more likely to lose \u2014 we haven\u2019t won anything with him since he first won in \u201916.
