They deliver constant and steady air pressure through a hose connected to a mask or nosepiece, helping individuals breathe while they sleep. Some common issues associated with CPAP treatment include a leaky mask, difficulty falling asleep, a stuffy nose, and a dry mouth.<\/p>\n<p>While sleep apnea can cause snoring and daytime fatigue, it can also lead to high blood pressure or heart problems. The most common form of sleep apnea occurs when the throat muscles relax, obstructing the flow of air into the lungs.
