Only 32 percent have a positive view of the vice president.<\/p>\n<p>These results give Harris a net rating of -17, the lowest ever recorded for a vice president in the history of the NBC News poll.<\/p>\n<p>For comparison, in October 2019, 38 percent of respondents had a negative view of then-Vice President Mike Pence, while 34 percent had a positive view of him.<\/p>\n<p>Pence recently entered the race for the 2024 Republican Presidential candidate.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2020, a survey of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-republican-candidate-for-virginia-governor-up-5-points\/\" title=\"POLL: Republican Candidate For Virginia Governor Up 5 Points\">registered voters found<\/a> that 34 percent had a positive view of then-Vice President Joe Biden, while 33 percent had a negative view.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2003, former VP Dick Cheney received a positive view from 47 percent of registered voters, compared to 24 percent who viewed him negatively.<\/p>\n<p>These findings align with the latest RealClearPolitics aggregate, which shows Harris with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kamala-harris-viewed-unfavorably-among-50-percent-of-american-voters-nbc-news-poll\/\" title=\"50% of American voters have an unfavorable view of Kamala Harris, according to NBC News Poll.\">average unfavorable rating<\/a> of -15.6 percent. This places her ahead of Florida Gov. (Jacquelyn Martin\/POOL\/AFP via Getty Images)<br \/>\n  <\/figure>\n<h2>\u2018Different Filter, Focus\u2019 on Harris<\/h2>\n<p>Furthermore, Harris is not polling well among Democrats, according to a recent Fox News national survey of registered voters.<\/p>\n<p>The survey, conducted between April 21 and 24, reveals that 73 percent of Democrats approve of Harris&#8217; job performance, while only 36 percent of independents and 15 percent of Republicans approve.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the survey shows that 43 percent of voters approve of Harris&#8217; job performance, while 54 percent disapprove. This is a decline from her 40 percent approval rate in June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent Fox interview, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley emphasized that voters are aware of the possibility of Harris becoming the next president during a time of uncertainty in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t continue down this path.
