However, the story doesn&#8217;t end there.<\/p>\n<p>Miller now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/harvey-weinstein-appeals-sex-crimes-conviction-in-new-york\/\" title=\"Harvey Weinstein Appeals Sex Crimes Conviction In New York\">faces additional charges<\/a> after initially denying involvement in the incident to police. On Thursday, Cranston Police charged him with vandalism and malicious injury to property. The incident occurred at the Garden City Center parking lot, where Miller is accused of &#8220;keying&#8221; an SUV.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, Miller denied the accusation and was let go. However, further review of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rhode-island-state-senator-faces-additional-charges-over-vandalism-incident-report\/\" title=\"Rhode Island State Senator hit with more charges for vandalism: Report.\">surveillance footage led<\/a> to his arrest. Miller admitted to the crime and even volunteered to go to the police station. Cranston Police Col. Michael Winquist stated that they are evaluating whether the elements of the crime are present for this charge.<\/p>\n<p>The incident was brought to light by the vehicle&#8217;s owner, a supporter of former President Donald Trump. The victim noticed a vehicle parked near his car with a &#8220;Re-elect Senator Josh Miller&#8221; bumper sticker. These incidents raise questions about Miller&#8217;s behavior and suitability for office.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rhode Island GOP Chairman Calls for Resignation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Rhode Island GOP Chairman Joe Powers has called for Miller&#8217;s resignation following his arrest.
