Baldy on June 24, 2023, has been completed and was positively identified as 65-year-old Julian Sands of North Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe manner of death is still under investigation, pending further test results,\u201d the press release added. \u201cWe would like to extend our gratitude to all the volunteers that worked tirelessly to locate Mr. Sands.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">UPDATE: Coroner Identifies Remains Located in the Mt. Baldy wilderness. The decedent was transported to the Coroner\u2019s Office, pending positive identification.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The news comes after Sands\u2019 family released a <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/julian-sands-missing-california-mountains-search-1dd3af640f752394e5d8fe11a26006bd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> on Friday thanking the sheriff\u2019s office for resuming the search after \u201cextreme alpine conditions\u201d had hampered efforts over the last few months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Last week, the sheriff\u2019s department <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/search-resumes-for-british-actor-julian-sands-after-extreme-alpine-conditions-hampered-efforts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> it \u201ccontinued ongoing search efforts in the Mount Baldy wilderness\u201d for the missing star.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, Mr. Sands was not located,\u201d it added. \u201cSaturday\u2019s search included over 80 Search and Rescue volunteers, deputies, and staff. Their efforts were supported by two helicopters and drone crews. Aviation resources inserted search teams into remote areas across Mount Baldy and conducted aerial search and assessments efforts. Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/search-resumes-for-british-actor-julian-sands-after-extreme-alpine-conditions-hampered-efforts\/\" title=\"Efforts to locate British actor Julian Sands hindered by severe alpine conditions.
