The Superintendent Says It Was A Hoax\">educational equity<\/a> at Pennsylvania State University, allegedly said during a June 5, 2020, faculty Zoom call. &#8220;There\u2019s been a disruption, I think, in all of our lives. And what I\u2019m interested in doing is staying in the disruption\u2014and actually, disrupting more\u2014because I think that\u2019s what we haven\u2019t seen and that\u2019s what we haven\u2019t done.&#8221; Wong also allegedly said she wanted to make white faculty &#8220;feel the pain&#8221; experienced by Floyd, who was killed by a Minneapolis police officer.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged comments are detailed in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23857287-show_temp23#document\/p9\/a2353534\">lawsuit<\/a> filed this month by Zack De Piero, a former professor at Penn State Abington who claims the university violated his right to free speech and discriminated against him for being white.
