When he was arraigned on the charges, he was instructed not to contact witnesses in the case or discuss the case with his co-defendant, longtime aide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/not-just-trump-45-says-deep-state-thugs-just-indicted-someone-close\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Walt Nauta<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.flsd.648653\/gov.uscourts.flsd.648653.33.0_1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filed a request<\/a> that the witness list be kept secret and that Trump sign a document saying he understood those on it could not be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, U.S. District Court Judge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chief-clerk-bad-news-furious-trump-appointed-judge-presiding-docs-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aileen Cannon<\/a> rejected the request.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Smith is not only attempting to keep this case under seal from the American people but impose absurd restrictions on the former president and Walt Nauta as to how evidence can be viewed. This is a trial, and not everyone agrees how these things should be done. So people shouldn\u2019t get too excited about each one of these,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph A.
