U.S. Attorney David Weiss must provide answers to the House Judiciary Committee. If the whistleblowers\u2019 allegations are true, this will be a significant part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mccarthy-impeachment-inquiry-of-merrick-garland-imminent-if-whistleblower-claims-are-true\/\" title=\"McCarthy warns of potential impeachment for Merrick Garland if whistleblower allegations prove accurate.\">larger impeachment inquiry<\/a> into Merrick Garland\u2019s weaponization of DOJ.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The allegations were made public on June 22, and Garland told reporters afterward that the allegations were not true. According to Garland, Weiss was \u201cpermitted to \u2026 make a decision to prosecute any way in which he wanted to, and in any district in which he wanted to,\u201d and was \u201cgiven complete authority to make all decisions on his own.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy also commented on the possibility of impeachment during a June 26 appearance on Fox News Channel\u2019s \u201cFox &#038; Friends,\u201d explaining that because of a marked difference between the testimony of the whistleblowers and what Weiss said privately, \u201cif it comes true, what the IRS whistleblower is saying, we\u2019re going to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-says-possible-garland-impeachment-not-voters-main-priority\/\" title=\"White House downplays potential Garland impeachment as voters' secondary concern.\">start impeachment inquiries<\/a> on the Attorney General.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The House Speaker has given his chamber of Congress a July 6 deadline to ascertain whether there was a contradiction in the stories.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, U.S. Attorney David Weiss filed two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-lawyer-calls-irs-whistleblower-a-criminal\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden Lawyer Calls IRS Whistleblower a Criminal\">misdemeanor tax charges<\/a> against the president\u2019s son, Hunter Biden, resulting in a plea deal.<\/p>\n<h2>Previous Articles of Impeachment Against Garland<\/h2>\n<p>Rep.
