Joshua Miller admitted he keyed an SUV at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/christmas-criminals-know-theyre-done-for-as-santas-elf-whips-out-a-peacemaker-reveals-hes-an-undercover-cop\/\" title=\"Christmas Criminals Know They\u2019re Done for as Santa\u2019s Elf Whips Out a Peacemaker, Reveals He\u2019s an Undercover Cop\">shopping center<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/emergency-wisconsin-lawsuit-to-stop-certification-challenges-nearly-160000-votes\/\" title=\"Emergency Wisconsin Lawsuit To Stop Certification Challenges Nearly 160,000 Votes\">news release<\/a> posted on Facebook, the Cranston Police Department shared a photo of a black Nissan Xterra with a scratch along the back passenger side.<\/p>\n<p>The SUV has a sticker on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pentagon-reveals-isis-k-fired-rockets-at-departing-u-s-evac-planes-one-hit-inside-airport\/\" title=\"Pentagon Reveals ISIS-K Fired Rockets At Departing U.S. Evac Planes, One Hit Inside Airport\">back window<\/a> that says, \u201cBIDEN SUCKS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle\u2019s owner, who was not named in the news release, is a Trump supporter, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/turnto10.com\/news\/local\/sen-josh-miller-arrested-in-cranston-for-on-malicious-damage-charge-cranston-police-department-june-23-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WJAR-TV<\/a> in Providence.<\/p>\n<p>The man called officers to the Garden City Shopping Center on Thursday to report damage to his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/driver-rams-patrol-car-backs-vehicle-deputy-doesnt-give-third-chance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vehicle<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn June 22, 2023, at approximately 3:39 PM, a Patrol Officer was dispatched to a call in the Garden City Shopping Center regarding an SUV reportedly vandalized at this location,\u201d the department said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[The victim] stated that when returning to their vehicle, they heard a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democratic-lawmaker-arrested-for-what-he-allegedly-did-to-a-trump-supporters-car\/\" title=\"Democratic lawmaker arrested for alleged vandalism of Trump supporter's car.\">loud scratching noise consistent<\/a> with someone keying a vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Nissan owner said he confronted a man holding a key who was near the vehicle but quickly walked away.<\/p>\n<p>When confronted with the damage, Miller denied to the vehicle\u2019s owner he was responsible for it, police said. The victim also said a car was parked next to his own that had not been there previously.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle had a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/car-anti-trump-bumper-sticker-plows-trump-merchandise-shop-high-speed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bumper sticker<\/a> that read, \u201dRe-elect Senator Josh Miller.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The victim used a phone to look up Miller and told police the senator was the same man he confronted and said he wanted to pursue charges.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/federal-officers-hunting-15-year-old-accused-attempted-school-bus-murder-separate-killing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Officers<\/a> said they then began a search for the lawmaker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers checked the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/potential-isis-threat-leads-to-increased-security-at-d-c-area-malls-ahead-of-halloween-weekend\/\" title=\"Potential ISIS Threat Leads to Increased Security at D.C. Area Malls Ahead of Halloween Weekend\">shopping plaza<\/a> and were initially unable to locate a person matching the suspect\u2019s description,\u201d police said. \u201cApproximately two hours later, Joshua Miller was observed wearing the same clothing except for his suit jacket, which was inside a bag he was carrying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Miller was interrogated but allowed to leave since the crime he was accused of was a misdemeanor.<\/p>\n<p>A body camera clip of the interaction was posted online and later shared by Rhode Island Republican Party chairman Joe Powers, who called the alleged actions \u201cunbecoming of anyone holding a leadership position.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">This behavior is unbecoming of anyone holding a leadership position. State Senator Joshua Miller has proven once again the he does not have the composure required to represent every constituent in his district and must resign immediately. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MZdKqm13kT\">https:\/\/t.co\/MZdKqm13kT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Joe Powers (@RIGOPChairman) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RIGOPChairman\/status\/1672382516550934535?\">June 23, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the clip, Miller made vague accusations about \u201cgun nuts\u201d he said were pursuing him.<\/p>\n<p>An old clip that has since re-emerged shows Miller responding to a question about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunter-biden-claim-second-amendment-protects-right-gun-addicted-crack-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Second Amendment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He responded, \u201cGo f*** yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>WARNING: The following clip contains language that some viewers might find offensive.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Police said after they let Miller go they reviewed footage from a camera at the shopping center and observed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/democrats-trying-get-rid-iconic-american-city-sound-introduce-european-style-alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democrat<\/a> keying the victim\u2019s car.<\/p>\n<p>Officers later visited Miller at his home, where they say he admitted to his actions when confronted with the evidence. He was charged with vandalism and malicious injury to property, arraigned and then released.<\/p>\n<p>Police said in a statement on the matter of the destruction of property that no one \u201cis above the law, including those who make and enforce the laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Officers who handled this investigation did so with fairness, integrity, and without preferential treatment. I would expect no less from the fine men and women of the Cranston Police Department,\u201d Cranston Police Col.
