Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, recently \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/chuck-grassley-teases-damning-audio-recordings-biden-1806139\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">teased<\/a>\u201d the nation \u2014 and the media \u2014 with details of a bribery scheme involving Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and a foreign national. This occurred after an IRS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/irs-whistleblower-hunter-biden-investigation-removed-from-probe-his-attorneys-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">whistleblower testified<\/a> he was removed from the Hunter Biden criminal probe following interference by the Justice Department.<\/p>\n<p>Now the Department of Justice has indicted the front-runner of the 2024 Republican nomination, former President Donald Trump, for alleged mishandling of sensitive documents. However, similar conduct regarding both the confidential documents in current President Joe Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/3810424-biden-lawyers-find-additional-classified-documents-at-wilmington-residence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">garage<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.factcheck.org\/2016\/07\/a-guide-to-clintons-emails\/?gclid=CjwKCAjwhdWkBhBZEiwA1ibLmJRjDKNUgRKUiCqE6YhC06n03rxjyU1_yNX5PvUH17FfOyKXllbYpxoCFrgQAvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hillary Clinton\u2019s<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-73976-ballots-released-by-maricopa-county-56-1-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"BREAKING: 73,976 Ballots Released By Maricopa County \u2014 56.1% FOR DONALD TRUMP\">private email server<\/a> has been ignored or excused.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>The Need for Accountability<\/h3>\n<p>The response to Grassley \u2014 not only from the media but also from the White House and the FBI itself \u2014 demonstrates that a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/what-joe-biden-impeachment-will-look-like-1798553\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full impeachment<\/a> of President Joe Biden is the only way to bring accountability to the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t rely on law enforcement, at least not the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/04\/14\/19-times-democrats-and-doj-deliberately-politicized-law-enforcement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">politically compromised<\/a> FBI. We also can\u2019t rely on the media themselves to seriously question \u2014 much less seriously investigate \u2014 Biden and his cronies. What\u2019s more, the next election is 17 months away; voters are not in a position to take action, especially when the same federal law enforcement in question has been shown to meddle in our national elections as they did <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/20\/the-naked-truth-on-the-hunter-biden-laptop-coverup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in 2020<\/a> by suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To be fair, investigations are hard for the media. After all, they impede a reporter\u2019s Twitter time. But you know what\u2019s easy? Approaching the story of the Biden bribe scheme from an angle of campaign coverage. That\u2019s exactly what the media have done.<\/p>\n<p>For example, a piece from <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/senate\/4053242-gop-grassley-dig-for-dirt-on-biden-amid-trump-indictment-furor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Hill<\/a> was fairly typical in its coverage of the accusations and the evidence, claiming that \u201cGrassley doesn\u2019t have much to go on, other than an FD-1023 form from the FBI stating that the unnamed foreign national claimed to have two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-jeff-fortenberry-to-resign-after-felony-convictions-for-lying-to-fbi\/\" title=\"Rep. Jeff Fortenberry to Resign After Felony Convictions for Lying to FBI\">recorded phone conversations<\/a> with then-Vice President Biden and 15 recorded phone conversations with Hunter Biden, revealing what the Iowa senator described as an \u2018alleged bribery scheme.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>The Truth Behind the Accusations<\/h3>\n<p>These attempts from the media to frame recent events around upcoming campaigns obfuscate the truth: This is actually a story about straight-up government corruption. But it won\u2019t be treated that way.<\/p>\n<p>Just as we can\u2019t rely on the media to look into Biden and his corrupt family, neither can we hold out hope for the weaponized Department of Justice and the FBI to act in a fair and impartial manner.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll tell you what Iowans are telling me, not only about this indictment, but the previous one as well,\u201d Grassley <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radioiowa.com\/2023\/06\/13\/iowas-us-senators-say-trump-should-not-face-charges\/#:~:text=Senator%20Chuck%20Grassley%20said%20it,as%20well%2C%E2%80%9D%20Grassley%20said.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a> an Iowa NPR station last week. \u201cThey\u2019re concerned about the unequal application of the law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As The Federalist recently<em> <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/09\/second-trump-indictment-is-proof-of-two-tiered-justice-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>, \u201cIf <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/impeachment-is-the-only-way-to-check-bidens-abuse-of-power\/\" title=\"Impeachment: The Solution to Biden's Power Abuse\">equal legal treatment existed<\/a> under the current administration, then Hunter Biden would be in jail. Multiple whistleblowers within the FBI and the Internal Revenue Service have charged the DOJ with deliberately slow-walking investigations into the president\u2019s son.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>The Urgency for Impeachment<\/h3>\n<p>The article goes on, \u201cIt\u2019s no wonder 4 in 5 Americans see a two<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-reps-denied-entry-to-dc-jail-holding-jan-6-defendants\/\" title=\"Republicans Reps Denied Entry To DC Jail Holding Jan. 6 Defendants\">-tiered justice system<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grassley himself knows what this portends for the future of our nation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwo standards of justice in this country will turn our constitutional Republic upside down,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grassley.senate.gov\/news\/remarks\/grassley-fbi-redacted-references-to-recordings-in-biden-allegation-shared-with-congress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">warned<\/a>. \u201cThanks to the political infection within the Biden Justice Department and FBI, we\u2019re well along the road for that to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/constitutioncenter.org\/the-constitution\/full-text?gclid=CjwKCAjwhdWkBhBZEiwA1ibLmJkDAHkMl4fHntwgCFbEqpcUj3M8N_r7CFYSfEky6N_33_o1sVb2nhoCu34QAvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Constitution<\/a> was written for times like this.<\/p>\n<p>The Founding Fathers drafted the document with the intent of creating a \u201cmore perfect Union.\u201d This framing was meant to prevent what the revolution sought to stop \u2014 the reign of a ruler with unchecked power.<\/p>\n<p>Their solution to such a situation? Impeachment \u2014 essentially described by Alexander Hamilton in <a href=\"https:\/\/guides.loc.gov\/federalist-papers\/text-61-70#s-lg-box-wrapper-25493452\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federalist No. 65<\/a> as \u201ca method of national inquest into the conduct of public men\u201d accused of violating the \u201cpublic trust.\u201d This was written into the U.S. Constitution as the \u201cin case of emergency break glass\u201d option for Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Impeachment powers cannot be blocked by the FBI or ignored into oblivion by the media. The ruling also only requires a simple majority in the House. Without this kind of objectivity, we won\u2019t know the truth of the Biden family businesses or Burisma; we won\u2019t see the full scope of our Justice Department\u2019s decline into third-world tactics and treachery.<\/p>\n<p>The impeachment process must be enacted to determine whether these scandals warrant the removal of President Biden under <a href=\"https:\/\/constitutioncenter.org\/the-constitution\/articles\/article-ii?gclid=CjwKCAjwv8qkBhAnEiwAkY-ahtt4879GIhToOekTEh3A9_kzNle_jtYWjfVusEHnZDrf7yiAeRwwrxoCiUoQAvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Article II, section 4<\/a> for \u201ctreason, bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
