One need only look at the state of the media, Hollywood, our universities, public education, and the increasing number of \u201cwoke\u201d corporations to see how successful this infiltration has been. But how does this work, in practice? How do the collectivist foxes get away with running the henhouses?<\/p>\n<p>One of the many ways is through union \u201csalting.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shrm.org\/resourcesandtools\/tools-and-samples\/hr-qa\/pages\/whatdoestheterm%E2%80%9Csalting%E2%80%9Dasaunionorganizingtacticmean.aspx\">The Society for Human Resource Management defines salting<\/a> as a union-organizing tactic \u201cwhereby the union pays an individual to apply for job within a targeted company and, once the job is obtained, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nlrb-adopts-a-dirty-union-trick-to-infiltrate-the-government-with-marxists\/\" title=\"NLRB adopts union tactic to infiltrate government with Marxists.\">begin union organizing efforts<\/a>. \u2026 A salt\u2019s role is to gather information as a company insider and use it in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/u-s-agency-unlawful-for-tesla-to-prevent-employees-from-wearing-union-shirts\/\" title=\"U.S. agency: \u2018unlawful\u2019 for Tesla to prevent employees from wearing union shirts\">union organizing campaign<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-530239609\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-033607fae6fc213fbfd82abe9c93c6fc fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-033607fae6fc213fbfd82abe9c93c6fc\"><\/div>\n<p>The word \u201csalting\u201d comes from the fraudulent practice of enticing investors to a mining operation by throwing salt in the vicinity to imitate the look of gold. In some cases, a salt\u2019s mission is just to get far enough in the hiring process to file an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/los-angeles-teachers-union-demands-vax-mandate-for-all-eligible-students-report\/\" title=\"Los Angeles Teachers Union Demands Vax Mandate For All Eligible Students: Report\">unfair labor practice charge<\/a> against the employer, whether it\u2019s a manufacturing operation or a restaurant chain or a charter school.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) protects employees who are genuinely interested in employment with the employer. By contrast, a salt has been a sort of persona non grata with the NLRB. That\u2019s just common sense. But that could be about to change.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NLRB General Counsel Pushes for Legal Change<\/h2>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlrb.gov\/news-outreach\/news-story\/nlrb-general-counsel-issues-memo-on-non-competes-violating-the-national\">a memo issued May 30<\/a>, NLRB general counsel Jennifer Abruzzo asserted that noncompete provisions in employment contracts and severance agreements violate the National Labor Relations Act. She first argued that these noncompetes \u201cinterfere with employees\u2019 ability\u201d to resign or threaten to resign as part of negotiating tactics, or to seek employment with a competitor and encourage co-workers to do so as part of a negotiation. Then she went on to drop her mask, expressing concern that noncompetes hamper the ability of \u201cemployees\u201d \u2014 salts \u2014 to \u201cseek employment, at least in part, to specifically engage in protected activity, including union organizing, with other workers at an employer\u2019s workplace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Abruzzo memo marks a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fla-doctors-report-new-effective-treatment-for-covid-19\/\" title=\"Fla. doctors report new effective treatment for COVID-19\">potential turning point<\/a> in NLRB history. The NLRB general counsel\u2019s willingness to promote the march of union salts is emblematic of the successful union infiltration of our federal institutions. Much has been made lately of <a href=\"https:\/\/judiciary.house.gov\/subcommittees\/committee-judiciary\/select-subcommittee-weaponization-federal-government\">the weaponization of the federal government<\/a> on behalf of one side of the political aisle.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-60948084e5f89e6e1125411c39c93c43 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-60948084e5f89e6e1125411c39c93c43\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Promoting Unions on the Taxpayer\u2019s Dime<\/h2>\n<p>In the labor space, there seems to have been an acceleration of this mission. Look at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dol.gov\/\">the Department of Labor\u2019s website<\/a>, which looks like it was produced by union propagandists. Look at <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/23\/biden-shoveled-36-billion-in-taxpayer-funds-to-bail-out-teamsters-for-mismanaged-pensions\/\">the bailout<\/a> of the Teamsters\u2019 mismanaged pension. Look at the way the federal government is even looking to <a href=\"https:\/\/townhall.com\/columnists\/russ-brown\/2023\/06\/05\/unions-washington-lackeys-exploit-ohio-rail-tragedy-to-fatten-coffers-n2624090\">use an environmental disaster<\/a> to benefit the unionistas.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Abruzzo and her compatriots across the Biden administration are busy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlrb.gov\/news-outreach\/news-story\/nlrb-general-counsel-releases-memorandum-on-strengthening-inter-agency\">weaving webs of collaboration<\/a> with the IRS, Department of Justice, and Federal Trade Commission. The obvious intent is to both give a veneer of legitimacy and lend an intimidating air to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2022\/02\/07\/white-house-task-force-on-worker-organizing-and-empowerment-report\/\">their brazen efforts to promote unions<\/a> on the taxpayers\u2019 dime.<\/p>\n<p>Can common sense somehow prevail at the NLRB? Large swaths of our country have lost faith in most or all of the institutional pillars of our civilization. Americans increasingly look at situations like this \u2014 a career union lawyer like Abruzzo infiltrating the NLRB corridors \u2014 and shake their heads with a defeatism befitting of a banana republic.<\/p>\n<p>But history suggests a more urgent response is in order. The NLRB <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littler.com\/publication-press\/publication\/nlrb-general-counsel-abruzzo-targets-employee-non-competes-under-nlra\">should stand for the rule of law<\/a> and reject Abruzzo\u2019s gaslighting and subversion.
