The Navy utilizes these devices because they\u2019re cheap and easy to learn.<\/p>\n<p>Harvard marine scientist Peter Girguis agreed, saying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/thrill-seeker-reveals-why-he-backed-out-of-missing-titanic-sub-voyage\/\" title=\"Thrill-seeker explains why he canceled Titanic sub adventure.\">video game controllers<\/a> can make submersibles and submarines more reliable vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re intuitive,\u201d Girguis said. \u201cWhat REALLY MATTERS is the physical design and integrity of any sub, as well as the control and safety systems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/man-trapped-titanic-sub-treated-ghoulishly-topside-media-finds-political-donations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submersible<\/a> is different from a submarine in that the former does not have the capability to travel far on its own. Rather, a submersible relies upon the help of a mother ship which transports the smaller vessel and monitors its location.<\/p>\n<p>Additional safety concerns regarding the Titan\u2019s experimental functionality involved pushing an \u201celevator\u201d button to operate the entire vessel and receiving text messages to navigate underwater.<\/p>\n<p>After capturing national attention, it was eventually concluded that the vessel suffered an underwater implosion and all five passengers died, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2023\/06\/22\/missing-titanic-tourist-submarine-search-live-updates\/70345468007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USA Today<\/a>. One of the people aboard the watercraft was ironically OceanGate CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/titanic-sub-ceo-admitted-hired-diversity-shunned-50-year-old-white-guys-military-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stockton Rush<\/a>, who allegedly disregarded safety measures.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/live-missing-titanic-submarine-update-coast-guard-officials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. Coast Guard<\/a> revealed Thursday afternoon that a debris field containing parts of the Titan submersible was discovered near the Titanic wreckage 13,000 feet below sea level.
