Trevor Raekwon Seward, 25, was sentenced Thursday for the 2019 killing of mail carrier Irene Pressley.<\/p>\n<p>Seward&#8217;s motive for the crime was rooted in his desire to obtain a package of marijuana that Pressley had left a note about in his mailbox. In a hail of gunfire, Seward fired approximately 20 rounds at the unsuspecting mail carrier, resulting in her tragic death.<\/p>\n<p>After the shooting, Seward drove Pressley&#8217;s postal vehicle three miles away from the crime scene, hoping to find the package he so desperately sought. He then abandoned the vehicle and left Pressley&#8217;s body in a ditch near a hunt club entrance.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his efforts, the package of marijuana was later discovered on the road where Pressley was initially shot.
