The worker, employed by Unifi Aviation, a company that contracts with Delta for ground crew operations, was ingested into the engine of a Delta Airlines jet while it was taxiing to the gate.<\/p>\n<p>The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently investigating the incident. According to a statement from the NTSB, the worker was sucked into the engine at 10:25 p.m. while the Delta Flight 1111 had one engine running. Delta Airlines is cooperating with the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The name of the employee has not been released.
