Trump Has That Now\">press secretary<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/office-special-counsel-determines-biden-press-secretary-karine-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jen-psaki-says-shed-be-happy-to-take-on-kayleigh-mcenany-on-fox-news\/\" title=\"Jen Psaki Says She\u2019d Be \u2018Happy\u2019 To Take On Kayleigh McEnany On Fox News\u00a0\">jean-pierre<\/a>-violated-federal-law\/&#8221; target=&#8221;_blank&#8221; rel=&#8221;noopener&#8221;>Karine Jean-Pierre<\/a> was hounded by a group of reporters over her non-answers regarding President Joe Biden\u2019s son, that certainly appears to be the case.<\/p>\n<p>During Friday\u2019s media briefing, CNN\u2019s Jeremy Diamond asked about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/whistleblower-reveals-hunter-biden-used-menace-foreign-officials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Biden<\/a>, who made headlines this week with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/defense-attorney-furious-seeing-hunter-biden-plea-deal-client-charge-wont-prison-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">plea agreement<\/a> for tax and gun crimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president invited his son, Hunter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/outrage-erupts-hunter-biden-seen-living-high-profile-white-house-event-2-days-agreeing-plead-guilty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to the state dinner<\/a> last night,\u201d Diamond began. \u201cI\u2019m wondering if you could take us into the thinking and decision-making of why the president decided to\u00a0\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Jean-Pierre cut him off at that point, blurting out that she would not comment on a \u201cpersonal family discussion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Unsatisfied with that response, Diamond pressed Jean-Pierre further.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIf Hunter Biden wasn\u2019t the president\u2019s son, would he have invited someone who had just reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors to dinner?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWell, a couple of things,\u201d Jean-Pierre said. \u201cAgain, that\u2019s his son. It\u2019s a family member. It is not uncommon for family members to attend events at the White House. Look at past presidents. I\u2019m sure you have, so that is not uncommon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs it relates to anything related to Hunter, I\u2019m just not going to respond to it from here.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It was at this point that Jean-Pierre began to lose the press room.<\/p>\n<p>You can watch the briefing for yourself below:<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>As a different reporter called Diamond\u2019s question \u201cnot an unreasonable question to ask\u201d and pressed the press secretary further, you could feel the tension rising in the room.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI just don\u2019t have anything to share outside of what my colleagues have shared \u2026 [I\u2019m] just not going to comment from here,\u201d Jean-Pierre said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Multiple, unseen voices then peppered her for her lack of a substantive response.<\/p>\n<p>Diamond\u2019s line of questioning prompted three other voices (the reporter who followed up on Diamond\u2019s question, a woman and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2023\/06\/23\/reporters-kjp-dodging-hunter-biden-questions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steven Nelson<\/a> of the New York Post) to pile onto the press secretary.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Jean-Pierre soon snapped at the reporters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSteven,\u201d she said, visibly perturbed. \u201cSteven, I just answered the question.
