It&#8217;s not up to you how I answered the question.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Despite the controversy surrounding the text messages, the White House counsel&#8217;s office has yet to address them. In response to Hunter Biden&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-official-in-brett-favre-related-fraud-scandal-pleads-guilty\/\" title=\"Former Official in Brett Favre\u2013Related Fraud Scandal Pleads Guilty\">recent plea deal<\/a> on tax charges, the counsel&#8217;s office expressed support for the president&#8217;s son, stating that they &#8220;love their son and support him as he continues to rebuild his life.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Interestingly, while the White House refuses to address the texts, President Biden has publicly embraced his son. Hunter Biden even attended a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/karine-jean-pierre-ducks-questions-on-hunter-bidens-texts-linking-father-to-shakedown\/\" title=\"Karine Jean-Pierre evades questions about Hunter Biden's texts connecting his father to a shakedown.\">high-profile state dinner<\/a> at the White House with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When asked about his son, the president proudly stated, &#8220;I am very proud of my son.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The text messages in question were revealed during testimony from IRS agent Gary Shapley and were published by House Republicans. In one message, sent on July 30, 2017, Hunter Biden expressed frustration to Chinese businessman Henry Zhao, stating that he was with his father and wanted to understand why a commitment had not been fulfilled.
