And that\u2019s not just when he\u2019s high on crack.<\/p>\n<p>The House Ways and Means Committee on Thursday <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/23\/whistleblower-transcripts-show-deep-state-election-rigging-for-biden-was-way-bigger-than-a-laptop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released the transcript<\/a> of an interview with high-level IRS investigating agent Gary Shapley who testified that the Justice Department, under both presidents Trump and Biden, \u201cprovided preferential treatment, slow-walked the investigation, did nothing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/irs-whistleblower-docs-show-doj-obstructed-hunter-biden-probe-to-protect-president\/\" title=\"IRS Whistleblower Docs Reveal DOJ Obstructed Hunter Biden Probe for President's Protection\">avoid obvious conflicts<\/a> of interest in this investigation\u201d into Hunter\u2019s shady, questionable as hell business dealings. Included in Shapley\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/waysandmeans.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Whistleblower-1-Transcript_Redacted.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exhaustively detailed testimony<\/a> was a 2017 text message uncovered in the years-long investigation from Hunter to a member of the Chinese Communist Party.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c542b9bc045dd436c3348c8d6f955e47 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c542b9bc045dd436c3348c8d6f955e47\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/22\/hunter-biden-threatened-my-father-could-hold-a-grudge-in-extortive-message-to-chinese-associate-revealed-by-whistleblower\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hunter wrote<\/a>. It\u2019s not clear what transaction he was referring to, but like the nasty little weenie that he is, he used his daddy\u2019s status as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ivan-sascha-sheehan-opposition-protests-in-iran-look-to-the-future-not-the-past\/\" title=\"Ivan Sascha Sheehan: Opposition Protests in Iran Look to the Future, Not the Past\">high-profile political figure<\/a> to threaten the communist. \u201c[I]f I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hunter mentions \u201cmy father\u201d more frequently than David French <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/23\/ukraine-war-fetishist-david-french-is-now-lecturing-you-from-kiev\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gets off to Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout Shapley\u2019s testimony, he names lawyers and officials within the IRS and FBI who admitted there was enough evidence to trigger more intensive investigations into Hunter (search warrants), which would, in turn, likely lead to criminal prosecutions (tax fraud), but that time and time again, they declined to pursue the matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[W]hatever the motivations, at every stage decisions were made that had the effect of benefiting the subject of the investigation,\u201d Shapley said, referring to Hunter. \u201cThese <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-is-above-the-law\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden is immune to legal consequences.\">decisions included slow-walking investigative steps<\/a>, not allowing enforcement actions to be executed, limiting investigators\u2019 line of questioning for witnesses, misleading investigators on charging authority, delaying any and all actions months before [the 2020 election] to ensure the investigation did not go overt well before policy memorandum mandated the pause.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-a5d4e795781c47b1bde91967b1ad6b46 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-a5d4e795781c47b1bde91967b1ad6b46\"><\/div>\n<p>He said his supervisors repeatedly deferred to the Justice Department regarding the investigation\u2019s progress and that the DOJ consistently denied advancements and even tipped off Hunter\u2019s lawyers as to what information the government knew, giving him a chance to conceal more incriminating material or concoct some feasible defense.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Times reacted to this explosive testimony by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/06\/22\/us\/politics\/hunter-biden-joe-business-deal.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">noting that<\/a> \u201cTaken at face value, the message would undercut President Biden\u2019s longstanding claims that he had nothing to do with his son\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jen-psaki-refuses-to-confirm-authenticity-of-hunter-biden-laptop\/\" title=\"Jen Psaki Refuses to Confirm Authenticity of Hunter Biden Laptop\">international business deals<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s only if you take it at \u201cface value,\u201d folks!<\/p>\n<p>The president knew what his son was doing. He was complicit and probably profited from it. The only reason we don\u2019t know for sure is because, according to Shapley\u2019s testimony, FBI agents deliberately avoided asking witnesses about it. On the one occasion that an agent did ask Hunter associate Rob Walker about Joe Biden, Walker said he believed Hunter had orchestrated a business meeting wherein his dad made a quick appearance for the purposes of bolstering the chances of  \u201cmaking a deal work out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd, inexplicably,\u201d Shapley said, after Walker confirmed this, \u201cthe FBI agent changed the subject.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/03\/31\/if-no-one-is-above-the-law-democrats-and-their-partisan-pawns-would-be-arraigned-not-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">they scream<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe law\u201d isn\u2019t applied by artificial intelligence. It\u2019s applied by people. And those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/do-they-want-to-live-in-a-handmaids-tale-sunny-hostin-screams-at-white-women-compares-them-to-roaches-voting-for-raid\/\" title=\"\u2018Do They Want To Live In A Handmaid\u2019s Tale?\u2019: Sunny Hostin Screams At White Women, Compares Them To \u2018Roaches Voting For Raid\u2019\">people make decisions based<\/a> on their predispositions. If those predispositions are to protect the ones who in turn protect the people applying the law, then it\u2019s not equal justice. This is otherwise known as \u201cThe Way Washington Works.\u201d If you\u2019re in, you\u2019re in.
