However, it wasn&#8217;t until this morning that the 6K ROV, the only equipment capable of reaching that depth, was finally deployed. And guess what? The wreckage was exactly where they expected it to be. So where did the failure occur? The failure lies in not exploring all available options.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Industry experts informed Crenshaw that the implosion sound detected by the Navy could have simply been the sub hitting the ocean floor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When you combine that with the tapping sounds, which were apparently SOS signals being sent every half hour on Tuesday and Wednesday, it raises the question: Could this tragedy have been averted if leadership had acted sooner and considered all possible solutions?
