The tornado claimed the lives of four people and injured fifteen others.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The tornado developed on Wednesday evening near Amarillo, Texas, before tearing through the small town of Matador.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The National Weather Service reported that this massive tornado is the largest one the area has seen since 2015.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Derek Delgado, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/authorities-investigate-united-airlines-engine-explosion\/\" title=\"Authorities investigate United Airlines engine explosion\">public information officer<\/a> with Lubbock Fire Rescue, expressed the devastation caused by the tornado, stating, &#8220;These people&#8217;s livelihoods, we had a restaurant, you know, completely torn apart. We had doors broken down, residences, you know, demolished. It&#8217;s truly devastating, especially with a town this size.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe town of Matador has experienced an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/unprecedented-tornado-leaves-4-dead-15-injured-in-texas\/\" title=\"Deadly tornado kills 4, injures 15 in Texas.\">unprecedented tornado bringing damaging winds<\/a> to the town,\u201d Lubbock Fire Rescue said in a statement on Twitter. \u201cAgencies from across the South Plains have assisted with search and rescue efforts. These agencies include police, fire and EMS. State resources have arrived to Matador to begin post-disaster operations<em>,<\/em> including damage assessment and final recovery efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Brandon Moore, a senior water superintendent for Matador, reported that at least twenty businesses and homes were completely demolished by the tornado.<\/p>\n<p>Besides Texas, there were also reports of tornadoes in Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming on Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Last week, another tornado struck Perryton, a city 140 miles north of Matador, resulting in three fatalities and numerous injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
