The DOJ had already denied the IRS team a search warrant, despite \u201cprobable cause,\u201d so the investigators were relying heavily on the interviews and a potential consent search.<\/p>\n<p>On December 3rd, five days before the team\u2019s planned \u201cday of action,\u201d they met with Delaware United States Attorney David Weiss and Assistant United States Attorney Lesley Wolf for 12 hours. During the meeting, Wolf told the team that she did not want them to ask the interviewees about Hunter\u2019s father or references to \u201cthe big guy.\u201d Wolf reportedly stated there was \u201cno specific criminality to that line of questioning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, the team devised \u201ca plan for the FBI Los Angeles special agent in charge to reach out at 8 a.m. on December 8th to the Secret Service Los Angeles special agent in charge [of Hunter\u2019s security detail] and tell them that we would be coming to the residence to seek an interview with Hunter Biden and that it was part of an official investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The night before the investigation, however, Shapley was told that \u201cFBI headquarters had notified Secret Service headquarters and the transition team\u201d about the day of action. \u201cThis essentially tipped off a group of people very close to President Biden and Hunter Biden and gave this group an opportunity to obstruct the approach on the witnesses,\u201d said Shapley.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-653bb7348b740af84f9ed9549a7112ac fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-653bb7348b740af84f9ed9549a7112ac\"><\/div>\n<p>After the FBI interference, the agents were told that \u201cthe Secret Service protectees\u201d would be given the phone numbers of Shapley and FBI Supervisory Special Agent Joe Gordon, and \u201cthe subjects\u201d would call the agents if they felt like talking to them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSSA Gordon and I waited in the car outside of Hunter Biden\u2019s California residence waiting for a phone call,\u201d said Shapley. \u201cIt was no surprise that the phone call SSA Gordon received was from his ASAC Alfred Watson, who informed us that Hunter would contact us through his attorneys.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later that morning, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/beyonce-and-jay-zs-9-year-old-daughter-wins-grammy\/\" title=\"Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z\u2019s 9-Year-Old Daughter Wins Grammy\">men received<\/a> a call from Hunter\u2019s attorneys, \u201cwho said he would accept service for any document requests, but we couldn\u2019t talk to his client. The public news of our investigation hit the press the next day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t know for certain whether FBI\u2019s advance notice played a role or not, but of the 12 interviews we hoped to conduct on our day of action, we only got one substantive interview,\u201d said Shapley. \u201cIt was with Rob Walker in Arkansas, and it was exactly the sort of interview we expected to have if the FBI hadn\u2019t tipped off Secret Service and the transition team,\u201d he continued. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/10\/bidens-made-millions-exchanging-political-favors-for-foreign-money-then-tried-to-cover-it-up-oversight-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Walker<\/a> is a Biden associate who allegedly used his LLC to funnel money from the Chinese to Biden family members.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-8ff9303d53341465abcf88c856059951 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-8ff9303d53341465abcf88c856059951\"><\/div>\n<p>According to Shapley, the investigation into Hunter wasn\u2019t even allowed to begin \u201cdue to the coming election,\u201d with \u201cDeputy Attorney General Donoghue issu[ing] a cease and desist of all overt investigative activities.\u201d Even when the IRS team was allowed to investigate, they were obstructed every step of the way by DOJ higher-ups.\u00a0\u201c[W]hatever the motivations, at every stage decisions were made that had the effect of benefiting the subject of the investigation,\u201d said Shapley.<\/p>\n<p>Shapley\u2019s testimony reveals the DOJ not only interfered in the 2020 election when it encouraged Big Tech to censor the knowingly-legitimate Hunter Biden laptop story, but they also interfered by thwarting investigations, preventing agents from making any inquiries into \u201cthe big guy,\u201d and shielding the Bidens from the consequences of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-truth-about-hunter-bidens-laptop\/\" title=\"The Truth About Hunter Biden\u2019s Laptop\">criminal activity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2a1eb9f5e1bfb7efcfd9551670005bb9 fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2a1eb9f5e1bfb7efcfd9551670005bb9\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">    \t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to a whistleblower, the FBI allegedly alerted individuals closely associated with President Biden and Hunter Biden, sabotaging an IRS criminal investigation.
