Jason Smith of Missouri, who chairs the House Ways and Means Committee said, adding that \u201cIRS investigators say they found themselves <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bombshell-irs-testimony-claims-doj-meddled-in-hunter-biden-investigation\/\" title=\"IRS Testimony: DOJ Interfered in Hunter Biden Probe\">hamstrung internally<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was a campaign of delay, divulge and deny,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Rep. Jason Smith: Whistleblowers say Biden\u2019s DOJ directly interfered in the Hunter Biden criminal investigation \u2014 and even stopped a probe into \u201ca WhatsApp message in which Hunter Biden demands payment from Chinese officials, noting that his father is in the room.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ddMa4OJzLT\">pic.twitter.com\/ddMa4OJzLT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1671933219334242305?\">June 22, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The committee announced that it has released all of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-perfectly-predicted-hunter-bidens-soft-plea-deal-two-weeks-ago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nikki-haley-gives-speech-at-reagan-library\/\" title=\"Nikki Haley gives speech at Reagan Library\">whistleblower testimony<\/a><\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/waysandmeans.house.gov\/smith-testimony-of-irs-employees-reveals-biden-irs-doj-interfered-in-tax-investigation-of-hunter-biden-revealing-preferential-treatment-for-wealthy-and-politically-connected\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">committee\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/waysandmeans.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Whistleblower-1-Transcript_Redacted.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transcript<\/a> of an interview with whistleblower Gary Shapley Jr. highlighted connections he felt were not fully investigated.<\/p>\n<p>The transcript said that Shapley told the committee \u201cin August 2020, we got the results back from an iCloud <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/attorney-client-privilege-federal-prosecutors-for-sdny-working-to-seize-rudy-giulianis-emails\/\" title=\"\u201cAttorney-Client Privilege?\u201d \u2013 Federal Prosecutors for SDNY Working to Seize Rudy Giuliani\u2019s Emails\">search warrant<\/a>. Unlike the laptop, these came to the investigative team from a third-party record keeper and included a set of messages. The messages included material we clearly needed to follow up on. Nevertheless, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-smoking-gun-gop-reveals-message-on-hunters-phone-seems-to-implicate-joe\/\" title=\"GOP uncovers potential evidence on Hunter's phone that implicates Joe Biden.\">prosecutors denied investigators\u2019 requests<\/a> to develop a strategy to look into the messages and denied investigators\u2019 suggestion to obtain location information to see where the texts were sent from.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then told of one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/joe-biden-confirmed-big-guy-panicked-messages-revealed-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blockbuster message.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, we obtained a July 30th, 2017, WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao, where Hunter Biden wrote: \u2018I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCommunications like these made it clear we needed to search the guest house at the Bidens\u2019 Delaware residence where Hunter Biden stayed for a time,\u201d he said,<\/p>\n<p>Shapley said that \u201c Assistant United States Attorney, Lesley Wolf, told us there was more than enough probable cause for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/irs-whistleblower-docs-show-doj-obstructed-hunter-biden-probe-to-protect-president\/\" title=\"IRS Whistleblower Docs Reveal DOJ Obstructed Hunter Biden Probe for President's Protection\">physical search warrant<\/a> there, but the question was whether the juice was worth the squeeze. She continued that optics were a driving factor in the decision on whether to execute a search warrant. She said a lot of evidence in our investigation would be found in the guest house of former Vice President Biden, but said there is no way we will get that approved. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>During a Dec. 3, 2020, meeting, he noted that investigators wanted to ask Rob Walker, an associate of Hunter Biden, \u201cabout an email that said: \u2018Ten held by H for the big guy.\u2019 We had obvious questions like who was H, who the big guy was, and why this percentage was to be held separately with the association hidden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut AUSA Wolf interjected and said she did not want to ask about the big guy and stated she did not want to ask questions about \u2018dad,\u2019\u201d he testified.<\/p>\n<p>But the subject of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/founder-sex-club-names-hunter-biden-ex-member-nothing-positive-say-joes-son\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden\u2019s linkage<\/a> to Hunter Biden\u2019s business affairs did come up, Shapley testified.<\/p>\n<p>In the transcript, he quoted Walker as noting one interaction Joe Biden had with his son and his son\u2019s business partners.<\/p>\n<p>The transcript quotes Walker as saying, \u201cWe were at the Four Seasons and we were having lunch and he stopped in, just said hello to everybody. I don\u2019t even think he drank water. I think Hunter Biden said, \u2018I may be trying to start a company or try to do something with these guys and could you?\u2019 And I think he was like, if I\u2019m around and he\u2019d show up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI agent asked: \u2018So you definitely got the feeling that that was orchestrated by Hunter Biden to have like an appearance by his dad at that meeting just to kind of bolster your chances at making a deal work out?\u2019\u201d the transcript said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWalker answered: \u2018Sure,\u2019\u201d the transcript said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI agent continued: \u2018Any times when he was in office, or did you hear Hunter Biden say that he was setting up a meeting with his dad with them while dad was still in office?\u2019\u201d the transcript said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWalker answered: \u2018Yes,\u2019\u201d the transcript said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd, inexplicably, the FBI agent changed the subject.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The post <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-smoking-gun-gop-reveals-message-hunters-phone-seems-implicate-joe\/\">Biden&#8217;s Smoking Gun?
