Bough sentenced Kendra Kingsbury to 46 months in prison on Wednesday after she pled guilty to two counts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fed-who-had-classified-docs-at-home-gets-prison-sentence-after-guilty-plea-to-same-charge-facing-trump\/\" title=\"Fed sentenced to prison for having classified docs at home after pleading guilty to same charge involving Trump.\">unlawfully retaining documents related<\/a> to the national defense.<\/p>\n<p>Kingsbury, 50, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/press-release\/file\/1396741\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">charged<\/a> in May 2021 with two counts of violating 18 U.S.C. \u00a7 793(e), Willful Retention of National Defense Information.<\/p>\n<p>Both of the counts Kingsbury was charged with carried the possibility of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-please-pardon-jon-woods-a-victim-of-process-crimes-like-michael-flynn\/\" title=\"President Trump, Please Pardon Jon Woods, a Victim of Process Crimes Like Michael Flynn\">10-year prison sentence<\/a> and a $250,000 fine.<\/p>\n<p>The exact statute that Kingsbury was charged with violating is the exact same statute that former President Donald Trump was charged with violating earlier this month. Trump was hit with <a href=\"https:\/\/d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net\/static\/2023\/06\/trump-indictment.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">31 counts<\/a> of allegedly violating 18 U.S.C. \u00a7 793(e).<\/p>\n<p>In Trump\u2019s case, all the charges that he faces are over documents that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trumps-private-message-to-merrick-garland-before-doj-press-conference-is-revealed-report\/\" title=\"Trump\u2019s Private Message To Merrick Garland Before DOJ Press Conference Is Revealed: Report\">federal investigators recovered<\/a> after issuing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-prosecutor-probing-attempts-to-influence-2020-election\/\" title=\"Georgia Prosecutor Probing Attempts to Influence 2020 Election\">grand jury subpoena<\/a> to the former president last June.
