Secret Service agents approached the seller of the gun and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-appointed-federal-judge-assigned-to-have-the-final-say-in-hunter-biden-case\/\" title=\"Trump-appointed judge to decide Hunter Biden case.\">requested transaction paperwork<\/a>, although the agency denies involvement in the disposal of the gun.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden&#8217;s attorney, Chris Clark, issued a statement regarding the plea agreement with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/department-justice-subpoenas-tesla-potential-safety-issue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Justice<\/a>. Clark stated that Hunter Biden will take responsibility for two instances of misdemeanor failure to file tax payments, while the firearm charge will be subject to a pretrial diversion agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Clark concluded by saying that Hunter Biden acknowledges the mistakes made during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life.<\/p>\n<h3>Judge Maryellen Noreika to Decide on Plea Agreement<\/h3>\n<p>The fate of the controversial plea agreement on the tax charges will ultimately be determined by Judge Maryellen Noreika of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Noreika was nominated to the court by President Trump in December 2017 and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in August 2018.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/hunter-biden-case-assigned-trump-appointed-judge\/story?id=100279065\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC News<\/a>, Judge Noreika has ordered Hunter Biden to appear in court on July 26, where she will make a decision regarding the acceptance of the plea agreement.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that Judge Noreika has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ftx-bankruptcy-lawyers-reveal-how-much-they-have-clawed-back-for-defrauded-investors\/\" title=\"FTX Bankruptcy Lawyers Reveal How Much They Have Clawed Back For Defrauded Investors\">made political donations<\/a> to candidates from both major parties, including John McCain, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Republican Sen.
