He stated that in 2016, the CIA received evidence indicating that Hillary Clinton had authorized a scheme to link then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia. Surprisingly, the FBI ignored this crucial information.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>During his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Durham emphasized that the FBI failed to properly scrutinize the information it received. He also highlighted the double standards applied to allegations involving the Clinton and Trump campaigns.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe FBI was too willing to accept and use politically funded and uncorroborated opposition research, such as the Steele dossier,\u201d Durham said. \u201cThe FBI relied on the dossier and FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) applications, knowing there was likely material originating from a political campaign or political opponent.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>The agency \u201cdid so even after the president of the United States, the FBI and CIA directors and others received briefings about intelligence suggesting that there was a Clinton campaign plan underway to stir up a scandal tying Trump to Russia,\u201d Durham said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) seized the opportunity to question Durham about the &#8220;Clinton Plan Intelligence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cCan you tell the committee what happened when you took that referral memo and shared it with one of those agents, specifically Supervisory Special Agent Number 1?\u201d Jordan asked.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe interviewed the first supervisor of the Crossfire investigation, the operational person,\u201d Durham answered. \u201cWe showed him the intelligence information and he indicated he had never seen it before.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Durham continued, revealing that the agent, Joe Pientka, had an emotional reaction upon seeing the information. He left the room with his lawyer, only to return later.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan then chimed in.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cHe was ticked off, wasn\u2019t he? He was ticked off because this is something he should have had as an agent on the case \u2014 important information that the director of the FBI kept from the people doing the investigation,\u201d Jordan asserted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe information was kept from him,\u201d Durham replied.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Durham claimed that in July 2016, then-CIA Director John Brennan alerted top officials, including then-President Barack Obama and then-Vice President Joe Biden, about the significance of the material. However, this briefing and Brennan&#8217;s subsequent referral to the FBI yielded no results.<\/p>\n<p>Durham maintained that the FBI&#8217;s failure to act on this information, combined with other facts, should have raised red flags about potential manipulation of the law enforcement process for political purposes during the 2016 presidential election.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWhether or not the Clinton plan intelligence was based on reliable or unreliable information, or was ultimately true or false it, it should have prompted FBI personnel to immediately undertake an analysis of the information and to act with far greater care and caution when receiving, analyzing, and relying upon materials of partisan origins, such as the Steele Reports, and the Alfa Bank allegations,\u201d according to Durham\u2019s report.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe found troubling violations of law and policy in the conduct of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/durham-testifies-saying-the-fbi-ignored-hillary-clintons-plan-to-link-russia-to-trump\/\" title=\"Durham testifies: FBI overlooked Clinton's Russia-Trump connection plan.\">highly consequential investigations directed<\/a> at members of a presidential campaign and ultimately, a presidential administration,\u201d Durham concluded. \u201cTo me, it matters not whether it was a Republican campaign or a Democrat campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Unfortunately, during the session, Democrats attacked Durham, labeling him a &#8220;political hack&#8221; and claiming that his involvement with Donald Trump has damaged his reputation.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
