The committee is scheduled to convene on Thursday to discuss the testimony of the whistleblowers.<\/p>\n<p>The committee also announced that &#8220;during Thursday&#8217;s session, we will follow where the facts lead and will release the appropriate details afterward.&#8221; Hunter Biden recently agreed to plead guilty to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/presidents-son-gets-sweetheart-deal-from-feds-on-gun-tax-charges\/\" title=\"President\u2019s Son Gets Sweetheart Deal From Feds on Gun, Tax Charges\">misdemeanor tax crimes<\/a>, avoiding imprisonment and potentially concluding a five-year federal investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The released documents revolve around two IRS whistleblowers who came forward with information about the agency&#8217;s investigation into Biden&#8217;s taxes.<\/p>\n<p>The first whistleblower, Gary Shapley, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-covered-up-slow-response-to-sexual-assault-allegations-against-usa-gymnastics-doctor\/\" title=\"FBI Covered Up Slow Response To Sexual Assault Allegations Against USA Gymnastics Doctor\">supervisory special agent<\/a>, requested whistleblower protections in April to disclose explosive claims of &#8220;preferential treatment&#8221; shown to Biden by the administration, which hindered the investigation.
