It\u2019s more on how the Justice Department has handled it over the past five years,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I mean, just take the gun charge alone, for example, either Hunter Biden checks the box certified he was addicted to a controlled substance, or he didn\u2019t check the box \u2014 that should have been a pretty easy one for the Justice Department to find out. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/antivirus-software-entrepreneur-john-mcafee-tries-to-halt-extradition-to-u-s-over-alleged-tax-crimes\/\" title=\"Antivirus software entrepreneur John McAfee tries to halt extradition to U.S. over alleged tax crimes\">tax evasion charges<\/a> as well date back at least five or six years,&#8221; Bedford explained. &#8220;And for the Justice Department to have sat on that for so many years and then enter into this sort of sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden just a few weeks after a whistleblower from the IRS emerged alleging some pretty serious slow-walking from the Justice Department.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think you are seeing a lot of frustration from congressional Republicans that now Democrats have a way to sort of brush this aside and say, &#8216;There is nothing more to see here with Hunter Biden,&#8217; when their interest really was never focused on the gun violation or the tax charges themselves,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to her, &#8220;Democrats have been trying to play that card since Hunter Biden emerged as a subject of scrutiny during the 2020 race.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She further noted that &#8220;What he did goes really far beyond what he has pleaded guilty to, allegedly. Republicans are really interested in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-grill-fed-nominee-over-alleged-influence-peddling\/\" title=\"Republicans Grill Fed Nominee Over Alleged Influence Peddling\">alleged influence peddling<\/a> that he engaged in while his father was vice president. This deal does nothing to look at that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now, the U.S. attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, did say that that part of the investigation is possibly ongoing, but certainly Democrats are going to try to really move on quickly from this now that they have this guilty plea,&#8221; Bedford added.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, it was revealed that Hunter would plead guilty to two counts of &#8220;willful failure to pay&#8221; his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/zoom-profits-in-2020-660-million-zoom-tax-payment-in-2021-0\/\" title=\"Zoom Profits in 2020: 0 Million.
