President Joe Biden has <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/watch-joe-biden-proudly-lists-all-his-grandkids-except-hunter-bidens-love-child\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">declined to acknowledge<\/a> the four-year-old as his grandchild, even after a court-ordered paternity test found Hunter Biden was the father.<\/p>\n<p>The settlement would be the third legal issue to reach its conclusion for Hunter Biden on Tuesday, who also reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors on tax and gun charges.<\/p>\n<p>Biden and Roberts negotiated the settlement late last week, according to the <em>Post<\/em>, which cited a &#8220;source close to the first son.&#8221; As part of the deal, Roberts also reportedly dropped a request to change their daughter\u2019s last name to Biden.<\/p>\n<p>The reported settlement agreement had not been publicly filed in the case as of Tuesday evening, a clerk for the Arkansas court confirmed to the <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em>. Lawyers for Roberts and Biden did not immediately respond to requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Biden was in Arkansas last week for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/contempt-charge-against-dan-scavino-based-on-false-claims-by-january-6-committee\/\" title=\"Contempt Charge Against Dan Scavino Based on False Claims by January 6 Committee\">closed-door deposition<\/a> in the case. He was also <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/arkansas-judge-orders-hunter-biden-back-to-court-says-burden-is-on-him-to-avoid-jail-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">scheduled<\/a> to appear in court on July 10 for a hearing on contempt charges, after Roberts\u2019s lawyer accused the first son of withholding financial records.<\/p>\n<p>Biden made his first and only appearance in the case in May, when his lawyers revealed that he had agreed to pay Roberts $20,000 in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-cashes-in-with-book-deal-as-career-prospects-dwindle-child-support-payments-mount\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden Cashes In with Book Deal as Career Prospects Dwindle, Child Support Payments Mount\">monthly child support<\/a> in 2020. Biden reopened the case last year and claimed he could no longer afford those payments.
