Wade, the topic of abortion continues to be a significant concern for voters. In fact, a recently released Gallup poll reveals that many voters are unwilling to support candidates who do not align with their personal views on this contentious issue.<\/p>\n<p>The survey found that 28% of registered voters, regardless of their stance on abortion, will only vote for politicians who share their beliefs. This percentage has increased by 1% since last year.<\/p>\n<h3>Abortion: A Key Factor for Some, Irrelevant for Others<\/h3>\n<p>For 56% of respondents, abortion is just one of many factors influencing their voting decisions. However, 14% of voters do not consider the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/matthew-mcconaughey-wears-a-mask-in-the-middle-of-nowhere\/\" title=\"Matthew McConaughey Wears A Mask In The Middle Of Nowhere\">politically divisive issue<\/a> to be important at all.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Gallup broke down the 28% into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/erickson-apocalypse-not\/\" title=\"ERICKSON: Apocalypse Not\">pro-abortion rights<\/a> and anti-abortion categories, revealing that those who support abortion rights view the issue as a significant dealbreaker in elections compared to those who oppose abortion rights. Among those who identify as pro-abortion rights, 17% stated that they will only support candidates who share their views. On the other hand, 10% of those who identify as anti-abortion rights hold the same stance.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The diminished pro-life segment of the electorate is less energized on the issue than they have been previously, indicating that the desire to see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dr-seuss-and-the-culture-of-fear\/\" title=\"Dr. Seuss and the Culture of Fear\">laws changed<\/a> is more motivating to voters than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/record-number-of-voters-consider-abortion-a-dealbreaker-poll\/\" title=\"Poll: Unprecedented number of voters view abortion as a dealbreaker.\">wanting current laws maintained<\/a>,&#8221; explained Lydia Saad, the Director of U.S. Social Research at Gallup.<\/p>\n<p>Saad further elaborated that this lack of enthusiasm among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-times-the-left-turned-on-their-own-for-not-being-woke-enough\/\" title=\"5 Times The Left Turned On Their Own For Not Being \u2018Woke\u2019 Enough\">pro-life voters<\/a> is the reason why many abortion bans have not been signed into state constitutions in the past year. It also explains why the 2022 midterm election was not as heavily influenced by the abortion issue, despite its increasing importance among voters.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the survey found that women are more likely than men to consider abortion their most important issue. Among pro-abortion rights voters, 22% of women and 11% of men hold this view.
